Please Note: Devs cant vote for their own games. If your game is in the poll, you cant vote. Also I will be running this thread now on behalf of ImNoSuperman due to some difficulty reasons. As many know in the past I have run other threads most recently the "Game Releases" thread and just like that thread I will keep this updated. Thanks for your patience

The poll is going to work the same way as always. I've made a list of all the notable games released since last thursday and more will be added in case something good gets released on thursday (including today's NZ releases which I'll add when they are released). In case there is something I missed, lemme know and I'll add it to the list.

First part is nomination where every member can vote upto 5 games to be included in the poll. 10 games with the most nominations will be added to the poll on Friday. Poll will remain open until wednesday and whichever game has the max votes, will be the GOTW for the week of Aug 25th.

Don't forget to add Naught. First five levels are free, then 99 cents for 15 more levels. I just drained my battery these last two hours playing it! Hope they add more levels. Interesting concept which made for a pretty fun game. Haven't quite finished it yet. I understand both points; just feel handcuffed into voting for things that I decided to play first is all - might regret that nomination after I play something else is my point.

As for the icon - well depends - to some that is very valuable a prize. Any publicity their game gets is good, so who knows the lengths people might do for such a tiny gesture. Which I do think is noble btw, but might create a stir as in the last thread (when a prize wasn't even announced). That's my only point.

+1 from me too. Contre Jour is a fantastic game. It may borrow a little from other games, but isn't just about every game influenced either graphically or gameplay wise from something? It's not like World of Goo or Trundle. If anything, it's got a little in common with Cut the Rope, but it's definately in a league of its own. And IMO better than any of the aformentioned games. It's got my vote for game of the week.

Wow, still a close race. Still think Contre Jour is the best of the three with the most votes. While it's art style and a bit of gameplay is not entirely original, it still felt the freshest to me. Spy Mouse is good, but don't think it lived up to its hype IMO.

Yeah, completely agree. I didn't like Spy Mouse or Sprinkle as much as Contre Jour.
