I noticed this on the developers page when looking at the thread about light bikes.

Does anyone know anything more about it? The concept seems amazing, exactly the type of game i was hoping someone would try to make, an RPG that integrates into the real world through the GPS function.

Now when will we see a location specific pokemon style game?

I'm really excited about this one, I loved playing PMOG and this looks to be the same thing.

This looks really cool, i'm going to check it out.

Without much info to go on, DAoR looks like it skins the google map and adds things like treasure and monsters. Hopefully, the game will involve you physically traveling to different areas in the real world to fight monsters on the phone. It also seems to hint at this world being persistent, so you could possibly encounter another player in the real world while walking around and challenge them in the game.

I'm just going from what i can gather by looking at the screen shots and the brief description they give, but i'm very excited about this game and hope to hear more about it soon.

I just wanted to let everyone know we are hard at work on Light Bikes and Dark Age of Reality. We are releasing a beta of Light Bikes out this week and also launching our beta site for Dark Age of Reality. We will be creating a user based content system where the users can submit new content ideas and then vote on them to be included in the game. We would love to get peoples feed back on the site and and ideas you might have. The site will officially launch middle to late this week, but you can get a sneak peek below.

This is like Parallel Kingdoms, but that game has some problems, but it is pretty fun. Hoping this is more fun.
