but adam lambert, you did it, and I will never look at led zeppelin the same way again. :mad: thanks for not ruining d'yer mak'er or ramble on, though you ruined probably my 4th or 5th favorite song by them.

I dont watch Idol but made the mistake of checking out the performance on youtube after reading your post... that was awful. Robert Plant should slap him for even attempting that song

I thought we were going to get rid of him last week that's what I was hoping for atleast him being in the bottom 2 gave me much joy.

As was i, but we can hope for this week. Although i think last week was a wake up call for his fans, they have probably stepped it up this week. Its a shame really

It's cool to bash. Makes you oh so cool. I remember when I was in junior high once someone admitted they liked Michael Jackson. Not one person stopped teasing them about it all day long. Then like a week or so later the teach asked for a raise of hands who owned Thriller record and most people's hands went up. Speaks volumes. Hypocrites are the masses. Glad I learned that one early on.

and this applies how? notice I felt no need to post my dislike of him until he ruined one of rocks best songs tonight. I hardly think that's bashing. But thanks for your post!

well the artists have to okay the song to be used before it can be performed, and I'm hoping/praying we don't see any more zepp. i'm used to seeing people butcher the hell out of police songs on idol, but i never expected this, this was the first time zepp gave permission and, i have to think it was not exactly the best move.

i have heard worse songs too, but they have never been led zeppelin, that's my issue. he could have done any other song by almost any other band, and i could care less.

For some reason I think that banner would be more amusing if it said "worst performance eva." I still don't even know who this guy is and why all the animosity toward him.

i will admit, i like adam! hes great, his proformance of mad world sold me, but idk thats my opinion, that was a bad proformance but the judges loved it, i dont get it.

did you like his version of mad world better than gary's version? to me nothing will top gary's, the song adam did wasn't THAT bad for me until he did that horrible thing when he said he was "very nervous" in the lyrics, that ruined it for me.

Wish I could say the same about Bill Kaulitz. He nailed the first part with pin-point accuracy, not so much the talent.
