Favorite Vacation Spots or fun trips

kind of a weird question, but where have your favorite vacations or long trips been to? or any where youre looking forward to going


Favorite vacations: Texas (san antonio)
Cabin in Northern Wisconsin
Arizona (tempe, pheonix, ASU)



Looking forward to: COLORADO (taking a trip all around the state and checking out the rockies, going to a rockies game etc IM PUMPED)


Never been out of the US but really want to.
So where has everyone else been????

I really enjoy Sun City Arizona (about 1 hour drive from Phoenix). It is a retirement community (I don't live there ;)), but there are plenty of things to do. The people are quite nice (being elderly) and the weather is warm and sunny.


Activity wise, there are tons of golf courses (a plus for me) and there is also mini-golf and swimming. Other family activities include: Tennis and bowling. Oh yah, there are plenty of great restaurants.

My family are all beach lovers so most of our vactions have been at the beach. Unfortunately for me, I take heavily after the Irish side of our family so I am virtually allergic to the sun (I look albino compared to the rest of my family)... I think I was off the plane for a mere 5 minutes before I was sunburnt when we went to Hawaii and ended up spending most of that vaction holed up in the hotel room dowsing myself in aloe vera.

My favorite vaction was when me and a couple of friends went to Vegas for a week... Lost every penny to my name but still had a good time!
