Problem

Hey guys, I need your help.
Currently my ipod is stuck on a white screen. It is not in DFU mode I believe and is recognized when I sync. But when I turn it off not completely just click power button to go black then press it again it is a white screen.
Any help?

It is a touch 2g on windows XP if that matters.

NM, I tried something from the internet and it put me into DFU mode so I will just restore now.:(

A mod can close this or it would be nice to know if there are any answers for the future.

after DFU you have to click shift+restore and click on the custom221 file

I know I wasn't jailbreaking it just froze up on me. And turned white. I think in trying to turn it off I might have put in DFU mode but not sure how when not plugged into computer white screen happens.

Hold Home and Top Button for 10 sec.

Well, a) there is no software based way to get you into DFU mode. b) That software was most likely a virus or c) it just put you into Recovery mode, sent some rs patches, and that made it white and even d) You have no clue what you are doing.
