Also, you don't need the 'respect points' at all, just level up as quickly as you can and log in LOTS. If you've got an iPhone that really helps.

Yes, you're quite right, my apologies... I made the mistake of reading up to the codes and then stopping! Answering the question might have been less rude than making out like I didn't bother, however.

Does this actually unlock the pets though? As far as I can tell most of the game is unlockable using money/experience but not new races of pet...

I figure it's a trade off. The game is free for everyone instead of costing $.99+, but if you want the premium pets, you have to pay extra. So at least we got the game for free.

If you purchase the very highly priced "Ultimate Pack," the developers seem to be making all new pets available in addition at no additional charge (plus the 450 respect points... which honestly are only worth spending on a void ring or two).

1. If you want to post your friend code, please post it here at the attached link (http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?t=9010). You'll get far more adds if you do.

2. If you are reading this thread for the treasure codes, please do not add anyone that posts their friend code here; instead completely ignore these posts. Hopefully this might encourage people to post friend codes in the proper location.

As a side note: I try to add any new codes I find in this thread to the opening post on the first page, along with the date and what the codes do, so that's a good place to check for the codes.

that code (cookiesondowels) for the gem that gives you +100 income takes up an investment slot on my game. I have 160 silver stock and 39 palladium stock. when i try to buy another palladium stock it says that all 200 of my slots are used. it didnt say that before i used the code so i am pretty sure that the stupid gem takes up a slot. so unless you dont make any money it is not worth it to have

It does not take up a slot either and I've definitely bought and sold many investments since I acquired. However, all of my investment slots were full when I entered the treasure code so if there is a bug, maybe its that it takes a slot if your slots are not already full.

yeah ive had the same problem at first i had 200 total and then i sold 17 palladium taking my total down to 183 palladium i then tried to buy 17 gold and it told me i had to many slots filled to fill that request so i sold the gem and know i still cant fill all 200 slots up i have 183 palladium and only 16 gold and this problem only cam up after getting the gem so not sure if its a bug or some thing but yeah it sucks wish i never use that treasure code wasnt even worth the mess around its giving me for a small 100 when im making 255044 an hour

What I've done is get a high base income with low -income energy equipment, and once I feel it's high enough, I buy equipment to defeat a necessary boss and then I sell it off, getting half of the investment back and still getting the high income I had before.

What I plan to do is get my investments to 200 platinum stocks, and then just let my money save up for a bit. At that point, even when I buy the top gear and have massive -income along with it, I'll still have a large reserve (maybe 100m or so?) for anything I need to buy in the future.

yeah thats what im doin im buying gold at the moment and once ive filled up all 200 slots with gold i will then start selling off the gold to buy platnium lol and just to let every 1 know the problem with 1 of your slots being taken up by that gem has been fixed so go in if u were at 199 and buy that last piece of investment metal u anted lol

At the rate I was earning money before, once I bought 50 of a stock, I went up to the next level and purchased 50 of those and so on. When I hit 200 and it was time to move up, I sold off portions of the lowest 50 each time I wanted to buy new ones. It worked really fast and well for me since I found buying 200 of one, then selling those all off and buying the next seemed like a bit of a waste. I mean, if you're going to end up with 200 platinums anyways, why buy 200 palladium and 200 gold along the way? Why not just 50 of each =p

I'm level 23 and sold all my equip and bought as many silver as I could and I waited about 9 hours. Got 5k worth of investment, waited 9 more hours. Got 10k, etc. I'm up to about 26k investment and I'm not going to stop until I'm at like 40-50k. Then I'll buy all the best equip and get my passive wins to equal my horrid passive losses. >_>

I'm level 23 and sold all my equip and bought as many silver as I could and I waited about 9 hours. Got 5k worth of investment, waited 9 more hours. Got 10k, etc. I'm up to about 26k investment and I'm not going to stop until I'm at like 40-50k. Then I'll buy all the best equip and get my passive wins to equal my horrid passive losses. >_>

Ok so for all of you people who think your better off saving and buying the highest stocks you can, im going to straighten you out. The best way to get the best bang for your buck is to have all your investment slots filled with the lowest investment. You should start by filling with copper, then when thats full start selling your coppers and filling up with nickel. the reason for this is simple. if you look at silver and palladium silver costs 20k ans palladium is 80k. if you bought 4 silver you get 2100 income but if you buy 1 palladium you only get 1180 income. Every investment works this way but on a smaller scale for the lesser investments and a larger scale for the more expensive investments. If you choose to follow other advice best of luck to you ive just found this is the best way to go about it.

Do you really want me to prove you wrong? Do the math yourself. Your statement is correct, but by the time you made it to platinum through your strategy, you'll have had to sell off 200 of every other stock, wasting a good sum of money.

Actually to your comment on loosing more money if you invest in the lowest then go to the next i have to rebuttal your statement. I was making 200,000 (all in silver excluding a few) an hour. It would take me 20 days to make the 96,000,000 required to purchase 200 platinum stock. But if i were to transfer all of them into gold stock it would take me roughly 6 days. Then roughly 9 days to make the money that is required to have 200 platinum. I sat down with a calculator and did it so it is wiser to invest in the smaller and upgrade but it is tedious and time consuming. I recommend putting everything into silver until level 20 or so then try upgrading. =]

Repeat steps stated above
{96,000,000/635,000}/24= 6.29921 days

Then you add 8.1799 days+6.29921 days equals 14.47911 days.
So converting is WAY faster and don't argue otherwise. And i didn't even take into consider selling amounts which would speed the process up even more.

Now that conversions are out of the way can we stick to treasure codes only on this forum PLEASE!!!!!!!

It only makes since to start off getting your investments full of just silver. They are the best deal out of any of the others. So therefore would be the quickest way to increase your money. Then after that you can either skip up to palladium, gold or platinum. It really doesn't matter because they are so close in how much you actually pay per investment. There's a small fallacy here, you're giving the silver/gold/platinum strat the benefit of exchanging and an increasing rate of income while not to the silver/platinum strat. If you take the 150/50 average idea and apply it for the conversion straight from silver to platinum I'm coming up with 11.808 days using your math. That would suggest the 2 being close to equal if not the platinum being slightly better.

Don't declare convos dead b/c you think you have the only answer ;P

lol i was just reading the stoof about teh money investment. here's my argument :)
after a little math, you'll see that the lower stock always gives the better income/price ratio. so i made this calculator.

it works by starting out with the lowest possible stock that you should buy. of course this doesn't always mean copper. im a nub right now so i have 15509 cash and 14356 income with 186 nickel, 13 silver, 1 steam gem. in the meantime, this calc will assume i have 199/200 slots cuz of steam gem bug, so it will start off by buying nickel, since i dont have money for silver. (it will be off by a little bit until bug is fixed) anyway, let's say i have 200 slots used. it would start converting all nickels to silver. and that's how it works, converting one by one till it gets to 200 plat. if i had less than 200 slots used, it would buy the most logical lowest stock first until 200 slots are used

also put in your cash flow including your equips, so if you had 15000 - 1000, put in 14000, this calc will assume you dont buy/sell any equips so your equip upkeep stay the same

i also put in how many times you're going to check to see if you have enough money to convert a new stock: updating hours. say you have a life, you might want to update every 24 hours, obviously this is no where near as good as updating every hour.

the final output gives the number of hours it would take

i guess it depends on the method i came up with (start low, then one by one buy higher stocks) if you agree or disagree with this calc

A: the only required field is updating hours so make sure you fill that, there are also other ways to get invalid input: 239 cash w/ no cashflow, negative stocks, negative cashflow (sorry, too lazy to put this one in)

the best thing to do is buy silver stock and just keep buying until you have 200/200 stocks then wait like 3 or so days you should have around 10mill [rough math] then you sell all your silver stock now you should have around 12mill now skip plat all together and go strait to gold and buy all the stocks you can you should get like 60g stocks now this should give you around 150,000
now just keep on saving your money and constantly buy g stocks that should give you something like 500,000 every 60mins this is the best way to go im lvl 23 and makin about 495,000

I've been hesitant in commenting on investment strategy because I thought the forum was for TC only, but you make a good point.

So...

The most efficient and fastest way to max out Platinum is to max out Copper and then sell Copper as you have enough for Silver. After Silver, are you ready? Buy Platinum! This might be the most boring way to do it since there is some waiting involved until the investments build up, but in the end, it will be the fastest. After obtaining 200 Copper, it would take 400 investment payouts to max Platinum out. Theoretically, of course.

The Math:
My calculations started with Copper maxed out. After each investment payout, investment pieces were purchased if there was enough money in the bank. If the sale of investments currently held created enough for additional investments pieces, more investments were purchased. I maxed out each investment type before switching to a bigger investment.

To find the best strategy, I plugged in the various ways investments could be bought and it came out that Copper, then Silver, then Platinum was the fastest. If you want to be more active, you can buy Nickel after Copper and then Silver. It only made a difference of 1 investment payout, 401 turns as opposed to 400. The important thing to remember is to get Silver, and then go straight to Platinum. Going in order (Copper, Nickel, Silver, Palladium, Gold, Platinum) made a bigger difference. It took 450 investment turns to max out Platinum

The reason there is little difference between getting Nickel or Silver after Copper is because very little money is wasted on Nickel in the big scheme of things. There is a much bigger difference when talking about Gold or Palladium. For every piece of Gold you buy, and ultimately sell, you waste $100,000. Multiply that by 200 and you've wasted $20 mil.

It should be noted though, in the calculation of purchasing Gold after Silver, the investments total increased faster than Silver - Platinum due to the better purchase price to investment ratio. That is, up until the 345th investment payout when the calculation of Platinum after Silver caught up and subsequently maxed out first. Again, too much money was wasted by buying Gold.

That's the problem you can't have the most expensive of everything and make money from investments. You need to battle and win to afford upkeep plus most expensive does not mean best. Don't worry abount energy get the cheaper accessories there almost the same

Reading regarding the investments while waiting for the next tc ( I've plundered the 2 backgrounds) so might as well inform u guys that when u reach above level 42+ , when u defeat the Byzantius Soul boss, u're gonna get a byzantius crystal reward if u win and it increase ur investment by 78,000 and does not take up an investment slot. And the reward for each battle won against epic bosses have less maintenance charged to ur account if u ask me.

Btw, I'm on level 71 , and... I'm maxed out my platinum and have the byzantius crystal... but so far platinum is the highest investment option at the moment still .. Maybe someone else with higher level can comment further....

Already saw someone asked this but couldn't find an answer. If you add up the best weapons you can get it equals to be more negative cashflow then the 200 plat investments can provide positive cashflow. Then you have negative cashflow and its impossible to fix unless you sell your items. Is there a way to avoid this?

Also I am seeing people with battle items like the white robot thing. I can't find anywhere to buy them so I am wondering where they are from. Are they respect point items?

The white robot and many other items are obtained by beating bosses. And yes u will have negative incom with the best weapons. This is so u have to choose when u want he best weapons[boss battles] and when u dont need them[just lvling up]

Already saw someone asked this but couldn't find an answer. If you add up the best weapons you can get it equals to be more negative cashflow then the 200 plat investments can provide positive cashflow. Then you have negative cashflow and its impossible to fix unless you sell your items. Is there a way to avoid

At this point if u equip all the best weapons and armors to beat the epic bosses, yes u have negative income.. But the rewards of accesory item u get is less cash maintenance if u equip them and sell back ur purchased accessories as u go. By the time u beat epic boss byzantius, u'll get a byzantius crystal that gives 78000 investment hourly and doesn't take up investment slot .. So that actually helps keeping ur cashflow positive

1. Sariel, if your beef is with all the off topic posts on this thread, and not the blatent self-whoreing of friend code posting, then congratulations! You have just as equally contributed to the delinquency of this thread as all those to whom you were addressing in your post, and are your own issue incarnate.

2. Ceol, just because the topic doesn't specify what NOT to talk about doesn't mean anything goes. The topic of the thread is treasure codes and should therefore be... you guessed it, treasure codes. However I agree that they are so few and far between that this thread would be dead if it were TC talk only.

3. Everyone bickering about what to or not to post makes no difference. If the person who started the thread didn't want investments talked about, he would start a new thread for investments, move all the investment suggestions there, delete the pointless argument posts (like this one), and post a link to that thread in this one. (or petition a mod to do so, depending on how this board works.)

Now, as I assume, based on what I've read, that a lot of you are young I hope I didn't write any bad words. And if I misspelled anything or used improper syntax or punctuation... I blame my iPhone or the vast amounts of alcohol in my blood, because I am infaliable and therefore couldn't possibly be to blame.

I can see how I might be lumped into that group, however, I type like this in any non-familiar setting. I feel that the shorthanded english, which has been embraced by so many people as part of the texting and IM-ing culture, is a large contributer to the steadily declining IQ of Americans. I try to maintain a realistic representation of how I would actually be speaking to a room full of strangers. This is by far one of the best threads i've read in a while. I actually jumped on here to find some codes for my fiance as she plays and I don't (I spend most of my time playing Imob). And while I did find the investment posts handy, and think I will have her read them sometime as they will make her some bank I can't say that I didn't laugh my butt off reading some of the flames. You guys are actually better at it than the guys over on the World At War boards cause well your educated and I like that. While I do spend a lot of time trash talking my fellow gamers and am slightly depressed that the world as a whole has lost the ability to actually do so, I commend you all on the ability to actually accomplish it. Also to the guy that said he was too much of a perfectionist and that if he couldn't do it right he would "half ass it". How does that even begin to make any sense what so ever? There is no such thing as an half ass perfectionist, to say that if you can't do it you half ass it means you are not a perfectionist. Actually you know what NEVER mind I can see logic is lost on you

BTW: I am guessing that you get the stockholm potion by beating the Stockholm boss? I don't see it in the item shop and she(my fiance) keeps asking me to beat the boss, I get him about half health and he drops two on himself and then I can only do 1hp dmg. So yeah if you know the answer please tell me?
