psx4all is paid only. Advice on piracy is against the rules here, sorry.
I recommend not buying it at all, though, since it runs pretty horribly on all devices. Zottd hasn't updated it in at least half a year and the framerates are bad even on the 4s. Right now your best bet is to just wait and hope someone else makes a PS1 emu that actually works.

yeah, I got an emu, but it doesn't do multiple discs... so if you have a game like that, you're SOL.

This exactly - its not worth it at all in its current state and very rarely updated by the dev. Robert Broglia (snes 9x porter) says onces hes finished neo.emu properly hes going to move onto another popular request, probably gba or psx, so theres hope for a decent one

I'm certain you can change discs for SOME games. Definitely possible for FF7. Since you save at the end of each disc before it asks you to put the next in - you just save and exit the app and boot up the next disc.

actually there is a program that lets you combine all disks of a multidisk game into one file. forgot the name tho. if your interested then google could help you out. plus i found a version of psx4all on the internet almost a year ago, but for some reason or another i bought the legit version. (maybe the classic controller wouldnt sync or something..) i thought it worked well when i was jailbroken, i used to play SoTN and Tactics all the time and it worked pretty great. but now i'm not jailbroken anymore on any devices, so...

As gameboy4iphone already runs excellently, I hope he chooses ps1!!!
can any one know how to fix the game play speed of psx4all? ihave down loaded different kind of games but not to many... i tried it all and the speed is the common problem for all my games.. thats why i can't play to the fullest ...

There will always be some lag, but you can minimize it bij adjusting the psx4all options.
Turn all options off except autoframeskip and play with the cycle multiplier a bit to see what works for what game.
At least this worked for me, but it also depends on the game. I can play resident evil 2 and parappa the rapper without to much lag but driver 2 is almost impossible to play.
Hope this helps. Btw use google to see which games work and which don't

psx4all is really badly optimized and it doesn't work well for ANY iDevice right now. The guy who is in charge said he'd update it a year ago (or even longer), but there has not been any change.
There's nothing you can do about it except to wait and hope it gets fixed.

Or that someone decides to port FPSe, actually, but i still dont understand why they dont want to.
Cydia is like any other android store, and the piracy rate of Android is ridiculous, much like iPhone.
Just search for whatever.apk and BAM! Not even close to the hassle you have ot go thru between 💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩/cydia.
Also GBA.EMU is out, the new emu of Robert Broglia. I hope we'll see an iOS version soon.

if u want some reasonable performance on psx4all downgrade to the version 3.
Version 3 runs faster on the various idevices, games I've tried so far are final fantasy 7 and that runs around 90 percent speed and streetfighter ex plus alpha which is just about playable.
I tried running mortal kombat trilogy on it but it freezes after the initial load up screens.
The most recent version of psx4all sacrificed speed to gain overall better compatability with the games and the cycler on some games will help but on other games it makes them unplayable. Frame skip on final fantasy 7 on version 4 made the game just about playable with sound on but battles with bigger enemies proper lagged.
I have a iphone 3gs and use ios 5.0 which I play psx4all on.
On the older iphone 3g I got some reasonable results aswell using version 3 if I had the sound turned off completely with final fantasy 7.
version 4 works with alot more games and lots of ingame bugs were sorted out, but stick with version 3 which can be googled and then ssh into your auto install folder on cydia then respring and your sorted.
If you have blutrol and A icade or a icontrolpad and use it with psx4all I always delete the apps landscape image files from the apps document folder so I get a screen with no onscreen controls and it works great with my icontrolpad.
