Videos on Safari

Just wondering. Why is it that some videos on Safari show up as QuickTime as if it could be played but in the middle the play button has a cross though it and I can't play it?

Idk but I've been wondering the same thing.

Its letting you know that a video is on the page but for whatever reason Safari can't play it. Maybe its a weird codec or something along those lines.
