Hell yes. Improved quantization, piano roll, 4bar sequences, audio recording (instantly useable) filters, new effects, triplets!!!! I'd pay 100 bucks for this truly! It's getting powerful. Shit, I'm $5,000 into mpc's and synths.

Dammit. I just got home from 24 hour road trip and was about to go to bed when i saw this. Now I have to stay up to try it out.
I was one of the many people who begged the devs to add a piano roll. This is just too much.
I would have happily paid $100 or more for this app. $20 for this and $10 for Noise.io is like stealing.

Do you know how many more sales they made with $20 as the price than if it was $100? People would have ran away at the sight of it. Plus, the $20 price point makes it obvious that they made more than 5X the number of downloads on top a hefty revenue. If it was $100, this might not be the case.

I really, really want this app. Unfortunately, I don't have $20 laying around. :p

Dude, if you have interest in music, proper music making software (not like Band which is a toy) then you have to find $20 somewhere, you REALLY have to. This thing makes most of the gear I sell obsolete/unneeded... it's seriously good.

This program is amazin, and for only $20
If this was on a computer it would easily cost 5 times that much.

The screen pans so the buttons are a decent size. The interface is actually very nice.

Beatmaker is really an amazing program. Its one of the first really good apps I found for the iPhone and still one of the few that really feels like it was designed well for the iPhone. Especially for how complex it is.
As cool as Noise.io is beatmaker is just way more polished and has a really great flow to it.

I finally sat down and really tried this update out. I'm changing "would happily pay $100 or more" to $200 or more. This is amazing.
I still haven't seen the piano roll. Does anybody know what I'm missing?

Make that $30. Noise.io is $10;)
They been working together to integrate the two apps. When they do, it'll too amazing. I've never liked synths before, but Noise.io won me over.

I looked at the iTunes page again and doesn't actually say "piano roll" it says "pitch and pan step editor" which is basically a piano roll. I'll have to look for it again later. It it works well, I might crap myself...
...not really:rolleyes:

that Piano roll your talking about is under the Step Editor's category at the bottom of the screen when editing a pattern, its called Pitch.
I haven't used it yet though.

I alyways liked music played with synths but never knew anything about them. After Noise.io and MiniSynth I was hooked....so much so that I went the complete opposite direction and bought one of these off ebay
As fun as iphone synths are you cant beat a whole butt load of knobs

Haha yeah synths arent the same on a touch screen.
Beatmaker is one of the few apps that you can actually get somewhere with. Some of my best jams came from beatmaker, rather than somethink like it in real life (which would definately top 20 bucks).

just bought beatmaker and really impressed with it.
However is there any easy way to adjust sounds to produce a lead line/melody ? Is it just adjusting the pitch on each sample (say a piano or guitar) or am I missing something easier ?
cheers

Ok, is this app really worth it? I'm not going to use it for any serious reasons, just to mess around with. Would it be worth it to me? Or would it be a better idea to buy $20 in apps/games that I'd use more often?
And, I don't quite understand exactly what the app is. It's like GarageBand but for iPhone and it only has drums? Or does it have several instruments?
I really just want to know more about the app, and if anyone could give me a quick description of it, it'd be much appreciated. (I have read the description on the app store, but I still don't get it.)
Thanks :)

Beatmaker is basically an app that makes beats. You can construct lots of sounds even your own to make a beat. Go to the site for more info. 1000x best music app. Oh yeah, it has different kits you can download, send finished beats to your computer, sample, chop, screw a beat with many types of effects. Go on YouTube, type. Beatmaker to see what I mean.

If you enjoy making music in any form and can afford $20 then you need beatmaker, even if you've never used a program like this. It's set up in a way that experts can jump right in and have a song done in 5 mins but if you're a newb to this, you could easily have a simple tune done in under an hour and be hooked for life. The manual is comprehensive and is very well done. Plus with the ability to import new kits and export finish songs this is an app that will never lose it's luster.
Consider that rolando is $10 and only lasts a few hours. This is something I would gladly pay $100 and not whine a bit.

If you are searching for a hip hop beat maker? Nicely, allow me to give you some basics that you need to know before you get one. We can see, not every beats are the same and that's according to the 3 factors below:
1. Audio Loops consisting as the main component of a good hip hop beat. It is best to spend some time and focus here when setting up your music loops because several adjusting will make the beats audio incredible and special. You should find out how create various editing over the loops by designing compression, extending and adding effects into it along with extensions plugin.
2. You will require a proper combination of MIDI drum sample to generate the backing track for your personal beat. By right mixture, I am talking about not only getting several drum loop performing together but with various drum patterns that may go with each other to improve the beat. If not, your hiphop beat is only another normal hip-hop.
3. Bassline is also called bassline house, It is a sub-genre of United kingdom garage music that blends components of four wheel drive garage, speed garage and R&B. Additionally, it gives features with other sub-genres dubstep and muck that highlight on bass.
4. A good music beat maker software will have MP3 export capability that enables you to store hip hop beats into MP3 file format which could be played with most media player.
