Promoting your app on itunes

just a quick question, the big banner ads for apps at the top of itunes, are those chosen by apple or do developers pay to have their app there. also, do you create the artwork for that ad, or apple. I just wanted to know, always bugged me this question!

They are chosen by Apple and I believe Apple contacts the developers to provide the appropriate banner.

Yeah, arn is right. If they were paid banners..... well it would look quite a bit different. Same goes for the "New Apps" section.

Yes, anything special, or extra, you see on the App Store is all picked by Apple themselves. We have no options past the metadata in our app submissions.
