Best game for five dollars

just recently I found five dollars under my couch and im wondering what game I should buy in the app store.

The point is that you play the game, and enjoy it! You don't absolutely have to have online play to have fun!

How about Waste the $5 for Mcdonalds. Remember, you cant say no, to the dollar menu ;). Or Just Get 5 $.99 Games instead which you get five games for $5. Instead of wasting it for just one game.

Exactly. If it's a good game then why worry about it having online play. Also I think Team 17 said they were going to add online play.

Ok then there are a lot of puzzle games that are good but I wont bother to mention because of your preference.
If I was you I would go for Resident Evil 4. It's $8 but I'm sure you can find $3 more. Castle of Magic is a decent platforming game.
There is always the option of buying 5 $1 apps and there are a ton of good ones.

okee..so lets see here, people suggest worms..i would go for starhogs. it's .99 right now and allows for great customization, many levels in campaign, and one of the best multiplayer interfaces i have seen.

Ok..you have around 3 bucks to spend left since you can't go over with tax and all..wait how would that work with a 4.99 game anyways _-..lol but ok.

how about the super hyped minigore? loving the graphics and the "promised" updates always brings some tears..2 dollars left.

sorry i didnt take the time to read what types of games ur interested in if you posted that somewhere in the thread but ok..how about F.A.S.T.?? from 10 -> 1 dollars in a few weeks. amazing graphics and also another great multiplayer interface.

baseball slugger man..sorry if you dont have internet or something haha..since these games quite greatly depend on it. but ya, this one i can promise never gets old and has one of the best internet gameplay out of any app in the store.

hmm if you have slugger and you said you like adventure/action. get hero of sparta..it's definitely worth .99 and you'll get a portion of the feeling you get from playing gow. well..that's if you don't have it already. heh :D

Well my fav genres are action and adventure but other genres aren't that bad I just said I like adventure/action. That doesn't mean that's all I ever play just so I'm clear with this.

Sorry to be a bit of a die-hard, but get yourself Soul Trapper Episode 1: Ollie Ollie Oxen Free! Sorry, I just love the game so much, and it's such an epic story, with fabulous voice acting, music, presentation in general, and much more. Lots of fun, action, and adventure! It's $4.99, and in my book, it gets 5/5 Stars!:)

Edit: Also, take a good look at Puzzlings! It is wonderful, and despite the "Cute" factor, it's very addicting, fun, and quite enjoyable, with an overload of customization available for your puzzling.

Edit 2: Another great one is Edge. It's amazingly well designed, with lots of puzzling fun. It isn't easy either! Challenging and entertaining! 5/5 Stars in my book!

Get Pocket god, that is the best game ever or harbour master because that is better than flight control. but be warned both are extremely addictive, and pocket god has a harbour master crossover in it.

I'd recommend Worms!

With no 2 games being the same (apart from the worms placement in the challenges)
The game has complete randomness to it, Have not played any other game since the day I brought it... with their update already submitted for 5 days today, Team 17 has been keeping an eye on the status very keenly here (http://www.facebook.com/topic.php?topic=9791&post=63304&uid=64566768063#post63304)

I have to stop playing this game only when the battery reaches 10%

Would like to add, this is the 1st & best $5 game tht I have bought for my 2nd gen iPod touch.

If Online Multiplayer is what you are looking for, wait for worms till it comes out later this year.
