Facebook Trouble!

My Facebook app on my iPod isn't working. Well, the chat feature specifically. See, whenever I go to chat, I get this:

Any idea what to do? Has anyone found out how to fix it?

P.S. I searched for it and found out that you have to be online on your computer for it to work, and so went online on it. Then I opened my iPod, and it still didn't work. :/ Did I do anything wrong? Any solutions?

Maybe none of your friends were on, which is why it didn't load. :S

this has happened to me before but it does this for the news feed and everything. the only solution i have found is deleting it and then reinstalling. doesnt take too much effort.

Yeah I had never heard of this problem before either (my facebook app is fine) until last night a friend came over and couldn't figure out the issue.

I deleted it etc... and nothing made their chat work, and they couldn't load pictures of friends either. We never figured it out, it was weird.

Would be nice if some came up with a fix, or answer to why some people's don't work...

False. I went offline on my laptop, went online on my iPod. What the Facebook app needs is an update. I'm sick of looking at screwed up times.
