Leaf Bound is a iPhone and iPod touch Game similar to papijump and doodlejump.

Battle the evil robots as Yuri makes her way up to the top. Embark on a journey high into the forest collecting power ups and face evil robotic monkeys. Battle evil bosses and save the forest from evil destruction. Only on the iPhone and iPod Touch.

About the contest

NOTE: Contest is now closed

I will be giving away 15 promo codes (US Stores only!) for Leaf Bound for this round.

Please follow instructions carefully!

1. Download Leaf Bound Lite (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=321303461&mt=8)

2. Play Campaign Mode in the game (It will give you more points if you beat both bosses)

3. When you beat the 2nd boss or if you die in the game a scoreboard will appear allowing you to type in your name. Put in your name and a space with TA at the end. Then upload the scores online.

Example: My name is Dang so i'll put in "DANG TA" (character space is limited)

4. I will be watching the scoreboard online here: http://www.leafbound.com/scoreboard (http://www.leafbound.com/scoreboard/) If you feel like your score is not high enough you can play the game again and resubmit. Our scoreboard takes the highest score from your game.

5. At 11:59 PM Pacific Standard Time Friday Aug 7th I will take the top 15 scores from the database. Please PM me your name that you submitted and I'll respond back with the promo after the contest! This way I can check the winners with the people who PM me.

Keep trying :D

Yeah if you are having trouble with accelerometer then you can go to the options and change to touch control. :D

Remember, you can jump on the coconuts. I used to try to avoid them completely, but if you're above them, jump off of them as if they were a leaf or platform. This helped me once I figured it out.

The points are the same it is just that the monkeys won't go easy on you if you have it on hard. Although we should throw in more monkeys in there for hard mode in the future release. :D

haha, i just tried it. pretty cool alternative to doodle jump. had to turn down the sensitivity, too twitchy on default. played a game and was like hell yeah, 25k! then i looked at the high score list hahah, 35th. don't think i'll be making the top 15

2 things i would change:

shake the phone for a 1/2 second block move. this would give more strategy to fighting bosses without being able to just constantly block.

add a time bonus to the end of level bonuses. right now you can just keep falling down until you are gradually forced to complete level, thereby getting a higher score than if you progressed quickly. a time bonus would even this out.

liking the game, more of a 'real game' than doodle jump, to me.

We are working on a new Arcade mode which will end the game if you fall down/miss the last leaf towards the bottom of the screen. This mode will be endless so you can keep on going. "Survival mode" basically. This will be introduced in 1.2 of our next update along with Level 9 + Super Monkey Boss. :D

We should have it submitted to Apple sometime this weekend. We need to throw in a few power up items before submitting.

Yeah to be honest the first time I saw this game I ignored it because of the similarities to DoodleJump, but having played it so much trying to get a good score I've realized... this owns DoodleJump in just about every possible way!

Even if I don't win a code I'll be picking this up, it's getting addicting now.

Edit: Damn, I just realized how long away midnight Pacific time is. It's 2:25am where I am so I won't be around to improve my score if it gets beaten :/

That update sounds great. the combos will be awesome as will the survival mode. If I don't win a code i'll be buying it.

and yeah, with survival mode plus the other modes, there's no reason to have doodle jump. good job devs
