Which apps need better icons? Your opinion

This is everyone's personal opinion here, but what apps do you think need better icons? I miss Defender Chronicles' old icon :( lol. That and apps with the black backgrounds that blend in with the ipod (Doom Resurrection, Star Hogs, Zenonia, etc. aren't good for icons IMO)

Cartoon Wars is desperately in need of a new icon, and so is The Wars. Both are great games that are slightly lacking in the art department.

Icons that could use a change:

Zenonia, Brothers In Arms, Rolando series, Circuit_Strike One, GeoFighter Light Wars, Siberian Strike, Nano Fighter, Cartoon Wars, Farm Frenzy, Ragdoll Blast, iYamato, Tyrian, and most of all Earth vs Mars :D

Icons that I love: Real Racing, Spider: The Secret Of Bryce Manor, Fieldrunners, Blimp, FAST, Baseball Slugger and the new Galcon icon. Oh, that Ironman icon I saw in the Rate My Apps thread here looks hot as well.

This topic is bizarre. I thought the question was asking which apps actually had bad icons, but you guys seem to be listing perfectly good icons just cause you're in the mood for a change. It's like changing your desktop wallpaper, you could do it for every app every single week.

Wacky World Golf - This icon is Terrible. It looks so thrown together, pure crap.

Defender Chronicles - Love the old one, hate the new one. In fact, I can't even look at it. Another crap icon for a great game

Pipe Mania - Just awful

Worms - I like the itunes icon much better

What's the Difference (JVL) - All of their other icons are nice, this one sucks.

Radial 50 - Great game, generic icon. Take influence from Breakspin for a new one.

Mahjong Artifacts II - I like the original icon much better. Should have been left alone

Kapsel Racer - This icon blows. Their icon for ifoosball kicks ass, what the hell happened to Kepsel Racer?

Drawrace - I don't like characters on the icon that are simply not in the game. This big doofus makes an appearance on splash screens, that's about it. Get a new icon, PLEASE!!!

Monkey Island - Can we have the itunes icon instead, please?

Defender Chronicles - I hated the icon so much I ended up deleting the game from my iPhone, I wish they would just go back to the original one


I also agree with the OP in that I dont like icons that blend in with the black background and don't keep the original icon shape (Star Hogs, Lux DLX, iDigIt, BumperStars, Kil.a.ton, Peggle, etc) - it just looks off

Hehe my iTouch 2nd Gen 32 Gig has a problem where it sometimes mixes up icons... :mad: It sucks, cause of games like MC: Sandstorm coming up with the World of Tunes Icon, but at least I haven't had to see Gang$tars icon. :D
Anyone know how to fix the problem though?:confused: I've deleted and reinstalled, and restored, but it didn't help...:(

Tweetdeck! I can't stand that ugly yellow icon!!! Just make it a Twitter blue logo or something. It puts me off from using the app sometimes. I also avoid keeping it on my home page because of it's uglyness. lol
