2G touch mail app problems

Hey guys

My sister got a 2G touch yesterday and everything works fine except for the mail app. I tried 2 yahoo email addresses and neither of them worked. Is anyone else having this problem? Should I try restoring it?

Yes, i cant send emails to my girlfriends aim account, which is a bummer.

1 minute and I get a reply here, yet my thread just sits there on the iLounge forums (as have 4 others I have made)

Hopefully this gets resolved as she got it mainly to check her email so she didn't have to use our mom's laptop which she needs for work.

Is everyone having problems using Yahoo? Mine seems to be working fine, but I use Googlemail (UK name for it).

Yeah my yahoo works fine on MY 2G touch, but yahoo just won't work on my sister's 2G touch :/
