Praise Jesus! If you are having problems jailbreaking 2.2 first gen iphone (maybe the other devices too such as 1st gen ipotch, or 3g iphone) just delete all apps on your phone, but make sure they're on your computer or else it will be hell redownloading them. That's what I did and it worked like a charm.
Wish i thought of it before the 2nd jailbreak :(.
