Just a heads up: Flower Garden 1.7 was just released (http://itunes.com/apps/flowergarden). It has some improved UI, plants don't dry up as fast at night, and it uses your own email account to send bouquets (so they won't be marked as spam anymore).

But most importantly, the Flower Garden Lite version was also just released (http://itunes.com/apps/flowergardenlite). So if you haven't checked it out yet, this is your chance.

And to celebrate, here are some promo codes:

Damn I didn't get one. :(

It says the offer has expired, not that the code is gone.

They're probably old promo codes from version 1.6 or earlier that have now expired...

Promos dont expire after a new version. But they do expire after appx 28 days after they are generated. He probably generated them atleast a month ago.

Yeah. They're like rainy days and mondays. :(

I actually love rainy days, but I do agree with Mondays being a downer.

Posted a review on iTune and I gotta say I meant every word. This is a fun and relaxing little app. I'm one of those people who dock my iphone on my desk at work and occasionally turn on the koi pond or bloom or some app to help reduce the stress at work. This is a great new addition to that collection.

Love the interface and the ambient music. Short-term recommendation for an update would be the ability to mix and match seeds in the same pot. (Unless you can do that now and I just didn't find it.)

Long-term request? Real-time lighting based on the time of day. These flower pots look so nice it's almost like looking out a small window. Imagine if you could have the morning sunrise casting shadows over them... the midday sun casting down on them... the setting sun as well. Just something I think would be a neat addition. :)

because of the nature of this game, it takes a while to have a good idea of the possibilities. Hence it will take a couple of days to do a full review.

BUT, I got a kiss from my wife this morning when she opened her mail to see she''d been sent a bunch of flowers...:o (See, if you don't spoil them, they get more appreciative... !)

Thumbs up so far, the graphics are quality (a must or the whole concept would fail altogether), and the soundtrack very relaxing. Enjoyable, but need to wait a bit more to judge depth of gameplay... this stuff doesn't grow overnight (well most).

New 2.5 update out with retina support ... well quite a bit anyway, some buttons and backgrounds still need updating, and the loading screen :). What is retina is very pretty!

Re free fertiliser for Pocket Frogs download, how do we get it if we're already addicted to PF? :D

Thanks for the update, any new flowers planned?
