Just bought it and the graphics are AMAZING.
Controls are tilt - pretty sensitive but will get used to it quickly.
Offers various options - 4 types of planes, time of day, cloud thickness, visibility, wind speed, wind direction, etc.
Even has pretty advanced settings such as weight of plane and center of gravity.
One thing that would be useful is a MAP, can't find any. Seems to have several take off locations, but haven't figured out how many yet.
Overall, great graphics, great details (you can even retract your landing gears), and easy controls. Well worth the $9.99. I recommend it!
yeah a map would be good -haha
how is landing? i always crash the planes on landing
tis tempting

Kinda hard to land, but quite possible.
If you ever played MS Flight Simulator or the original X-Plane, its pretty much the same feeling as those.

sounds pretty cool! so you just kinda fly around to each landing strip, enjoy the sights, and try not to crash? Any other goals or challenges? tricky mountain ranges or anything like that? or is the goal simply to control the plane without dying? lol
sorry if I'm rambling, just trying to get a better impression what it's all about

Far as I know, no goals. If you're looking for a storyline or an adventure of the type, probably not worth the $10. But if you like flying around (even on your iPod/iPhone), its got pretty neat graphics.
As for sights, as the description states, its only moutains in Austria so not as exciting as flying in a city. Hope they add more options in future updates though!

Not to say that the moutains in Austria aren't cool :)

What people need to understand about this 'game' is that it is -NOT- a game at all. This is a flight simulator. Don't buy it expecting a game.

As soon as they add dogfighting capabilities count me in! :D
Thank you JPanther for answering all our questions :)
