View Full Version : Guess Gameloft's next major game, win a Pig!
So we have just had Dungeon Hunter and RS10 released, and we have had almost every genre covered by Gameloft's wide variety of games. So what do you think they will announce next?
Here are some of my ideas:
- Racing game/F1 game.
- Flight sim/Combat flight sim.
- MC: Sandstorm, re-skinned as a WW2 FPS (using the same game engine).
- Survival/Horror game, such as Left for Dead, or Silent Hill.
So what are your ideas?
(And I was joking about winning a pig :D)

Maybe a turn-based strategy?

I can't really imagine them doing a flight sim. And maybe i don't want to imagine them doing a Survival Horror thing.
Maybe some sort of TF2 like thing? Or something like that. It would be interesting, and they seem to want to demonstrate multiplayer at every turn.

Flight sim or horror game. They've already done three FPS, 2 racing with 2 more coming, 1 RPG/RTS, 1 RPG, 2 Brain, etc. Also 1 platformer.
I personally hope it's a racing game. I already have ROLE which is amazing and will keep me satisfied. I have Castle of Magic but I almost finished it so a platformer would be good. I don't like FPS games but I do want Terminator. I already have Raging Thunder, CBNK3D, Wave Blazer, NFSU, RR, and I want to get Krazy Kart, Shrek Kart, and Asphalt 5.

I really can't see them doing a Flight Sim... Maybe another racer. But I think their gonna take a break from bombing the app store with their apps. How about adding a poll?

I think it is going to be a tom clancy splinter cell mobile edition because they are apart of ubisoft so that's the best guess.

A proper C/JRPG. There are barely any in the appstore besides Zenonia.

Yeah, nice idea.
Any of the 'Tom Clancy' games would be brilliant.
Imagine playing, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Splinter cell, etc. That would be pretty awesome. Gameloft already has excellent TPS and FPS game engines (Terminator: Salvation, Modern Combat: Sandstorm), so it should be quite easy for them to do it.
And yeah, I agree with the others. Maybe not a flight sim. Although, I could see them doing a combat flight sim, i.e - Ace Combat rip-off :D.

Yeah, I like the idea, but I don't really see them doing it, unless it is a action/combat flight game. Hopefully someone from Gameloft is reading this thread ;)

a GOOD <FULL> 3d racer NOT asphalt, I'm not a fan of the series and they will probably copy either mario kart/crash cart or a racing sim (gran turismo/forza)

What do you mean exactly by a 'good full 3d racer'.
What's wrong with Asphalt 5? It looks great.
I just want a motorcycle racing game such as MotoGP, or SBK.
None of those silly little 4 wheeled vehicles :p

Read the question more carefully.
- what they are probably going to do: something like Splinter Cell or Indigo Prophecy.
- what I would like them to do: something like Mario vs Donkey Kong
- what I'm surprised they haven't done already: Prince of Persia, hell they did great ports for the game 5 years ago

I think they are going to make a flight sim next, although I'd prefer a stragety game.
I'd like to see Gameloft's take on the game Wipeout.
Yeah, that's a nice idea.
We have phaze, but I'm sure Gameloft could do a better job.

I don't think they've had any turn-based RPG's so I'm gonna go with that. :b

How you doing, LBG?
I've always thought about the TPS: Splinter Cell being ported here. That would also be pretty boss if they ported Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Bloodlines from the PSP to the iDevice.
Another thing I would love to see is Gameloft buy the license to make Monster Jam.
Best of all, they should make a Bully clone. I know they wouldn't make it as good as Rockstar did, but seeing as Rockstar really doesn't plan to do anything else with the Bully franchise, I don't see why not. I always thought that Bully would have been better as a handheld game, anyway. The quick missions, fast paced gameplay, and short minigames would be perfect for the "pick-up-and-play" type of game that handhelds rock for (especially the iPod Touch/ iPhone).

Hi CaseyLay, I am good thanks :)
Yeah, I like your idea about a Bully clone. I have always wanted to play that game, but never got around to buying it. I could imagine it being something like Dexter on the iPhone, but obviously school themed. With the quick main missions and the minigames. Yeah, it wouldbe perfect for the idevice. Let's hope Gameloft (or R* ;)) are listening.
What I really want is a MotoGP/SBK game,
but I'm sure you know that already ;)
