I don't think that I have that many that I use frequently, but my tops are:

Ambiance: great ambient noise application, comes with a large selection of relaxing audio that can be mixed together and played back. Great if you need ambient sounds to help fall asleep.

USA Manual: Declaration of Independence, Federalist Papers, Constitution, Emancipation Proclamation, Gettysburg Address, amongst others..all in your pocket, all for 99 cents.

Stanza: Thousands of great books, all for free.

faves not in any particular order;

•Stanza - great free ebook reader with lots of customisable view options + free content
•MyRail Lite - UK only rail info - locate nearest stations (even non gps iPhone) & live train info - (don't know why it's called lite - planning one to buy e-tickets?)
•Tuner - Internet radio streams - has my faves like Secret Agent and KJAZ
•Filemagnet - with Desktop app can sync files quickly from Mac to phone and vice versa
•Joost - Film and TV streams - I've been catching up on early series of Peep Show etc
•OldBooth - take a picture of friend and give them a weird retro look - fun at parties
•Movies - good to check if a film on TV is worth watching as well as Theatre releases
•Shazam - find out what that great track playing in bar is and link to iTunes
•Truphone - great VOIP app - worked a treat when I was in Dublin at free wifi bar
•WritingPad - clever - just make shape linking letters on KB - no need to tap
•iFooty - has link to BBC live football match feeds and news (not sure works worldwide)

Huh that's nice, I searched iTunes and couldn't find any of those games! Guess those games haven't been released in the US app store.

Damn you know I'm bored when I'm being a smart-ass about these spam threads being in the games discussion forums

6. Easy Relax/White Noise
7. Google Earth/Earthscape
8. Scribble
9. Real Call (fake phone calls programs)

Here's more than 15; just all the free one's that I feel are worth getting (in alphabetical order).

-6001 Crazy Facts Free (pretty self-explanatory)

-Backgrounds (pretty pictures for backgrounds)

-Dictionary.com (awesome because it works offline)

-Diggle (if you're into digg.com)

-Flixster (movie times, reviews, trailers)

-F-MyLife (good for reading about others' misfortunes)

-Google Earth (it's Google Earth, visit some world wonders)

-i.TV (a good T.V. guide)

-iHandy Level (a free level)

-Inside Xbox (simulated Xbox Live dashboard, can see which XBL friends are online)

-Instapaper Free (save articles you see online for offline reading later, great app)

-iWoopie (save Youtube and Dailymotion videos in-app)

-Quick Graph (graphs 3-d equations in different coordinate systems)

-textPlus (it's free, and has push notifications, awesome)

-To Do's (has reminder outside of the app that lets you know something is not completed)

-The Weather Channel Standard (it's the weather)

-Units (unit converter, easy to use)

-Yelp (nearby places and restaurant/bar reviews0

-Wikiamo (simple wikipedia with offline caching)
