I've used that before, what happens though is the orange and red may merge together if the filter doesn't work too well. That's the one I used for my neon apple sign logo though. If you want to try it, go for it, because if it does work out it could look well.

And soldier, I don't think you need to add it, I was just curious why you hadn't put one in. No worries

If you want, you can add the slider rounded rectangle. Also, on the top, there is a thin line where the word iPod goes, a little lock, the battery icon, and other little symbols. If you would like to add that little line on the top border go for it

Anyway; if u r on Vista; plug in your iPod. It should show up. Go to my computer; Apple iPod; Internal Storage; 999Apple; etc. Till u get to where your images are. Then copy and paste. U must have at least one saved image already on your iPod though.

P.S: The poll was supposed to be all of us vs. Grumpy. But I was sleepy and misnderstood paulio. Grumpy started making wallpapers after the poll was made.

I haven't tried it, but I thought that it probably would look good. I had a small version of it, but then changed it to be a larger, more "button" like. I think it looks better.

Any future Obama wallpapers will likely feature that slider, until it get the body right. Or of course Paulio, Rocketman or Danny can take the bottom, fix it, and put in new body content. I'll work on it some more though.

I wish that Apple would let you have clickables on the wallpaper. I'd have the logo activate the iPhone Obama 08 app. That would be really good.

i do use a simple google search. put unlike what you say; i usually... well let me put an example.

for tanzen:

i put the apple background in a layer in the bottom.
then joined a bunch of blocks
made sure they looked well together
then starting removing by hand
then zoomed in and slowly removed the rest
when it matched the original apple logo i remove the apple logo layer
then bring turn off the transperancy on the tan zen blocks
then retouch
add slider clock etc.
polish it
post it.

oh well crayon physics was diferent. there i applied a bunch of filters and blur and mixed / explored 'till i got it right. that apple logo is a old one apple used to use. so yes; but im pretty sure for crayon physics only

Ughh, Windows. Replace that with a big X, and change the colors. It'll look much better.

Its horrible. Vista is the reason that I became a Mac. And I'll never go back. Windows is a horrid OS, and I would like for you to try Leopard (or better yet, Tiger), and see if you can ever go back to using Vista.

Windows sucks. Simple as that. Thanks for the leopard one. Tiger is a better overall OS, but Apple is quickly dropping support for it.
