Help: data loss for all my games

I own a Unibody Macbook and an iPhone 3G. When I updated my iPhone 3G to the latest operating system, all my game saves were deleted. All other data (recent calls, twitter accounts, etc...) were fine. I back up regularly using time machine. Is there anyway of getting these files back?

Restore from backup. Assuming that you backed up before doing the upgrade.

[Edit]Actually, if you're on Time Machine, you should be able to find an earlier backup of your iPhone files. You can copy the entire Music folder from a version before the upgrade and then restore from backup -- that may work. Again, this assumes that you've been backing up your iPhone regularly by syncing to iTunes.
