Battery question

I am trying to get my battery life longer, I'm not sure if it is as good as it can be. I always have Wifi off if I'm not using it, quit out of apps by holding the Home button for 10 seconds and have fetch location off. What is Fetch new data : Push? Should I turn Push off? WHat other things can I do?

Turn the brightness down and turn extra stuff like "location services" off.

I think "Push" is when you hit the Mail app and all the contents on your online Inbox are transfered to your device. The same goes to Contacts and stuff. Definitely keep it under "manual" Push because if you have it setup like every 10, 20, 30 mins it will drain your battery. I think if you turn Push off then you might not be able to check your email (not sure though)...
