They gave the DS version a 9.5 I believe. In general, DS > PSP, unless you are a graphics whore.

I'm a graphics slut, so yeah, go psp. giggity. but i'd rather wait for the ipod version and pay $10 or so rather than pay $40 for the psp version

Rockstar have said that the iPhone and iPod version of Chinatown Wars will be released in the fall. The official dates for the fall season are the 23rd of September to the 21st of December. The latest quote from Rockstar regarding the iphone version was them saying in a Reuters news article today that "Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will also be available on the iPhone and iPod touch at a later date." So it could be anytime between now and the end of December.

Uh.... GTA:CW was on DS first. Square Enix has way more DS titles than PSP titles, and a much higher quality at that. We don't have God of War (that is specific to PS), but we sure have all of those historic Nintendo IPs (Mario and company, Zelda, Metroid, just to name a few). Plus Pokemon, which is one of the most successful series of all time.

Don't get me wrong. PSP has some cool games. DS just has a wider selection.

You know, that is EXACTLY my point when my friends start arguing that the PSP is better. More variety and innovation, sacrifice graphics.

Don't get me wrong, there ARE good games for PSP, it's just there are way too few. My friends argue that the proportion of good games to crappy games is lower on DS, but the point is that there are still more good games for DS as compared to other games on the platform rather than PSP. Anybody agree?

As far as I know, they can't price it over $20 unless they label it as "entertainment" instead of "game", which they obviously cannot.

False. Any app of any genre can be priced at any level.

yes but they have GTA VCS and LCS, and the only Nintendo IP I like is Zelda, which i could emulate on my PSP... thats right, even OoT, not to mention most of square enixs games on the ds are remakes... Final Fantasy 4 and 3, remakes.. and they remade chrono trigger... and there new kingdom hearts will just get toppled by the one for the psp (no the kingdom hearts on the ds doesnt use stylus so dont say its more innovative) you claim these to be higher qual than crisis core and dissidia... yeah okay, wow new games too, lol oh wait those are just remakes... lol I jk, The ds is cool, but I love my PSP better just because I can do so much more with it (homebrew anyone?) not to mention the fact that I can play any PS1 game on it (yes mine was hacked, I hacked it myself)

I meant without hacking. I know the PSP is great and all with all the emulators and stuff, but the DS has more potential than the PSP (game-wise) without hacking. Plus, you can't deny the remakes have sold well enough to justify their existence. = ]

Also, I'm not saying those particular games are better than Crisis Core and Dissidia, I'm saying there are more games of equal or slightly lesser quality of this genre than on the PSP. Of course, Dissidia is rather unique, but the standard action-RPG is pretty common on DS.
