Although I only registered today I consider myself a touchArcade user since the beginning, just never posted ;)
I was wondering if there are more users here that published an app or a game to the store :)
I have a casual puzzle game based on the pen and paper game 'bulls and cows' and the boardgame Mastermind:
MasterBrain (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=289990419&mt=8) - $0.99
I showed you mine, now show me yours ;) ;)

I don't have anything live on the store yet - but I am working with another dev to bring a halloween themed title to the iPhone.

Hello,
I'm the developer of the word puzzle game Imangi (http://www.linktoapp.com/imangi). If you haven't heard of it, check out the reviews that Ars Technica (http://arstechnica.com/journals/apple.ars/2008/09/16/app-store-update-imangi-2) and TouchArcade (http://toucharcade.com/2008/07/23/imangis-unique-word-puzzler/) did.
Enjoy!

I'm one of the devs responsible for Shards (http://couchworldgames.com/shards/), and obviously it's related demo version Shardsette. We are working on another puzzle game at the moment, which should be done this weekend, and hopefully in the AppStore before the end of the month.

Hey guys...
We're the developers of the puzzle game "Cubes". We've got a new game being submitted to Apple in the next day or two called "Virus".
Hey,
I'm the developer of BooMLe - maybe you remember the preview of the game
http://toucharcade.com/2008/08/03/jollypops-boomle-puzzler-shows-promise/
The game isn't out yet - and as one might expect - it is only another match-three-colour logical game. But for me and my team isn't. Only I put into the game more than one thousand of hours - almost every minute of my free time in last three months. I hope people will appreciate it - because my goal is to make puzzler - done in unique way never seen before - with big gameplay variability, lots of game modes, WiFi multiplayer, storyline, featured soundtrack. Now have the game more than 25 000 lines of code :D Keep the finger crossed and I will later bring some new info/screenshots/videos :)
PS: the game is now far away ahead the youtube video

Well, we still not decide. The deadline for the release is set to the november 2008 - so still enough time. I see the potential for 10+ hours, random levels, some fun with friends via WiFi and Online competitions. But as I mention before - I want make the game pleasurable for the people as much as we can do. And for majority is not pleasurable to pay the price 9.99$ - so the game will be for sure lower - and as I hope - more stable:)

A friend and I made ScribBall.
http://toucharcade.com/2008/09/18/a-look-at-scribball-a-physics-based-color-matching-puzzler/
ScribBall uses my rigid body physics library, Chipmunk. A number of other iPhone games use it as well. List of Chipmunk games (http://code.google.com/p/chipmunk-physics/wiki/Games) Though no iPhone game really uses it to it's full potential. We're in the process of fixing that. ;)

We have too our game is Touch 'Em and has been up for 3 days or so. Hoping for some reviews to start appearing soon. Four of us worked on it and while planning 1.1 we are starting our next one which will be another puzzle game but we have plans for a series of different games too. As an 18 year veteran of the games industry this the most excited I've been since I started - I'm even writing this on my iPhone it's fantastic!

What's "Virus" about?
We'll try and post up a video in the coming days to show the gameplay. The basic premise behind the game is that the body is being attacked by various viruses in different areas of the body. You control the formation of white blood cells in the bloodstream to try and trap the viruses and kill off the virus in each zone. The game makes full use of the accelerometer as well as touch, and uses a realtime physics engine for enhanced playability.
We think it's a fun little game that will appeal both to those that only want a quick 2 minute game as well as those looking for a longer experience. We're submitting today, so hopefully should be up by the end of this coming week.

Hi Lee,
Consumed looks really well done & polished. I'm just not sure about replayability. At $2.99 I'm a little skeptical to "try" it out, and there are no reviews at the (Canadian) store.
Have you considered doing a short sale, like Tanzen did (went from $2.99 to $0.99 for a week or something) just to get people into it & talking, build up reviews & hype, and increase number of sales? Personally, I'd pick it up in a flash for a buck.
Just an idea. Curious to see your next game, too! Keep up the good work :)

it'd be great if it would be, but it probably won't be out by the end of this week. apple's "app-in-review" system is crazy. trace has been in review for the past two weeks. (http://forums.toucharcade.com/showthread.php?threadid=218)

tosui,
Consumed is really meant more to fill those few extra minutes you have with a "quick" (really depends on how much thought you put into your moves) match. Kind of like a good game of checkers or reversi. :)
I'm certainly considering having a sale to raise awareness for Consumed. Right now I'm working hard to finish version 1.2 which includes bug fixes, a better settings view and a two player mode so you can play against a friend as well as against the computer.
If you would like to see a game play video please visit our web site: Consumed Gameplay Video (http://web.mac.com/cifrisw/consumed_gameplay.html)
Thanks very much for your feedback

Thought some people might be interested to know that I've lowered the price of my game "Consumed (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=290237781&mt=8)" to $1.99 US. I've also updated it to include a two player mode so you can challenge a friend. This greatly adds to the replay value, as will some new additions I'm working on.
But my real reason for posting is to get some attention to this thread again.
I'd like to see more developers posting their work here. :D

I'm just judging based on the video. It looks fun. It's based on Ataxx (http://pressibus.org/ataxx/indexgb.html) which many games are of this type. One flash game I liked was hexxagon (http://www.neave.com/games/hexxagon/). There is a free version called Squares (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=287064290&mt=8) in the app store. However, this one I think I like better as you can jump opponents pieces and is closer to hexxagon gameplay that I like. $2..hmmm I think I'll have to wait and hope it hits $1 though.

I have been playing this game since it has came out. It has earned a perment spot on my iPhone.
I would like to start out that is has never crashed on me and has never crashed my phone either, which is more than I can say about a lot of the games I have tried. That out of the way let's get to the nuts & bolts so to speek.
The controls are simple and easy to understand. The game starts out (for people that have played this type of game before) extreemly easy. But it does build in difficulty as you progress, and get quite difficult to beat. The sounds are simplistic but good, and there are a several back grounds to choose from or you can choose a pict that's on your phone to use as a back ground.
It is a very well written, and provides not only a quick game now and then but also prolonged play as well. I have not tried out the 2 player part of the game yet so I can't tell you how that plays, but I'm sure that if it is like the rest of the game it works well.
Ok for my gripes :)
The game has no scoring and with that no abbility for a "high score" I like "bragging rights" :)
It it does not have "levels" example lvl 1,2,3... It just gets harder or easier depending on if you beat it or not. If it had levels that once you beat that level you could go back later & select that lvl to start at IMHO it would be better.
I hope this helps.

Welcome. Is THTouch the Texas Hold'em game? I hope you'll consider making a non-Texas Hold'em poker game. The Texas Hold'em crazy is irritating in part because it seems to have put blinders on poker game makers everywhere. What about the bazillion other variants of poker out there? A fun poker game would even let players make up their own variants on the fly. 5's and 7's wild, hi-low, pass the trash anyone? Something to consider for your next game. You'd have the sole non-Texas-Hold'em-only Poker game perhaps anywhere.

It is indeed a Texas Hold'em variant poker game. Thats just because it is very popular. To add multiple poker game rules vor more variants to the game som rather big changes would be necessary, so I'm not sure if that will happen soon, as university just started again and I already cut down university time last semester and need to catch up now ;)
Still, I like the idea of course. But there are also completely other games on my mind :)

Hi guys,
I'm one of the conspirators at Secret Exit. We've got three games under development right now. Spin has been submitted to AppStore, so I would hope it to be the first game to come out. Later this year it'll be followed by Zen Bound, and perhaps the third game which is somewhat unannounced at this time.
Mostly I lurk, but occasionally I compensate with long rants. My current pet peeve is the whole jumbled mess XCode and the different provisioning profiles with development and distribution. I swear it's almost enough to make me give up games and become a sheep herder in Burkina Faso.
Cheers to all the devs here :)
