Puzzle Dice is a competitive puzzle that is solved in groups of 4 neighbouring numbers. A light goes off, if in the centre of the four numbers all four are correct. It is all about speed and the shortest pathway to success. Every number played adds ten seconds to your score. Very oddly the conflict of the game is your decision to go slow and precise or try your hand at speed solving Puzzle Dice. If you do make a simple mistake you will be in a lot of trouble trying to fix the mess.
Both pathways result in very similar times making the puzzle very tough to achieve a top ten score on the leader board. Especially against players that see patterns very well.
We are again not allowing players to repeat puzzles. With 800 puzzles in four grades at your disposal ( enough content), a realistic leader board is more important to us. (sorry)
Should be out around next Friday. Puzzle Dice is a non-digestible tablet against Alzheimer's! Enjoy and stay sharp!

I've enjoyed Domino Dice quite a bit and plan on picking up Puzzle Dice when it arrives.
Just one idea: I understand that you want accurate leaderboards, but I think the game is more fun for less skilled players if you allow them to repeat levels. I compete more against my own previous attempts in games like this than against a perfect score on a leaderboard... Perhaps you could limit leaderboards to the first playthrough of each level and then let players hone their skills with further attempts. Thanks!

Sippydad,
It really is a struggle with the leader boards! I really think they are hard to control. Look how nice the leader boards on Domino Dice are working. The scores seem realistic! So many games have these perfect scores clogging up the top tens. The human element is lost. I wish we could think of a solution. Maybe 200 puzzles that are practise puzzles re-playable with no attachment to the scores.

The practice puzzles would be a great solution. Then both types of player would get what they want (the competitiveness of the leaderboards and the opportunity to replay to improve skills). I'm going to buy Str8ts too, to support a developer that actually reads message boards and responds to their 'customers'!

This looks interesting! When I fill in four numbers I am told immediately if All four are correct or 1 or more are incorrect. I have to see this in action? Looking at the other titles these guys put out this one will be good. With leader boards that makes it even more interesting
