Is there a guide anywhere with stats on equipment and upgrades? I'm thinking of getting new armor, maybe a new gun, but I really wish I had a better way of comparing stuff.

E.g., is the Sentry Armor good? What does +cloaking mean? Does +target sensing mean more damage? Better hit rate?

Cloaking is when you have the beserker shield, or damage amplifier; it covers it up almost all the way to where no one can tell you have it :D

Targeting usually means more damage.

As if you didn't realize that a free ngmoco FPS wasn't going to be popular... I haven't been able to have a lag free game since the four hour wait and haven't been able to sign in since the beginning of the 60 minute promotion. Get more servers up!

For people not getting credits, can you please log out and come back in? (exit app and come back)

If there was an unexpected issue arising from the server traffic and you just pounded through it, you might need to reset yourself.

I would suggest this be built into your routine until we can balance load issues completely.

Hey I just played you a bunch. It was fun, I noticed the same thing about arvinderb. Hopefully you noticed that when I picked up the shield I backed off and just tried gunning people down, usually if I run into someone with it it's an accident. Unless someones camping it like crazy, then I'll try and play that game right back. Anyway, we should play some more sometime ur pretty good :D

An even worse camp story is semajkecyr, he camped in the shield room on Tank and just shot his anti matter at the walls of the hallway leading to it and they'd just bounce around in the hallway so you couldn't even get back there at all. Luckily, he strayed a bit too far and I spawned in that shield room, and could take him out. Once it was me in that spot, he didn't make it back to camping it. I only lost by 2 in that game, too.

So i've just played like 20 games, and connection times are pretty close to where they were before the promotion. I haven't had any issues with credits not being awarded.

If you are having issues still, try logging out of plus+, back in, exiting app and coming back in. The servers are probably playing catch up, and your infos might have been bounced to multiple servers as we brought more online to handle the load.

A number of us at ngmoco also saw the mass achievement unlock issue. Since it doesn't really do anything besides bring your hopes up for a few seconds, it's very low priority for us. Thank you for reporting it though.

I thought the lag last night was bad, where I had 7 connection drops and my skill level dropped 700 points. Well, I got that back up this afternoon, only to be killed by the lag and connection drops due to this promotion level tonight, and dropping 900 skill points in the process. Count me in among those that am hating the promotion at the moment. I think I'll just limit my playing during mornings and afternoons at this point. The evenings have been way too laggy lately.

Yea, strafing really appeals to me. It saddens my soul to hear that rifle sucks major at higher levels. As for semajkecyr, he didn't use anything but AR on me. And luckily, he wasn't very good at it. One anti-matter abuser that really stood out was shadowgx something...

Yeah, strafing's like an art. I also wish AR would be more useful at higher levels, but my impression so far is that using it would just be handicapping yourself. One I was strafing with someone else who also knew how to strafe, and we were just going back and forth like a dance. It was beautiful, lol :p

Most people would just charge you, or run past you (what, this isn't a fighter plane sim where to do passes). I played with someone today who kept charging my face with the Vap, and I didn't really understand the reason for that (other than maybe making it easier for him to aim, which I would have just dodged out of sight).

After playing some matches where people were all higher level than I was, I found myself start playing like CS, doing corner shots (strafing in and out), other tactical stuff.

Anyone hate rocketers who camp on the ledges on Flood? I played a game where there were TWO campers. Still won :p

Funny you say so, my iPod Touch 2G spent minutes just finding a match. And when it did, I'm matched with a level 47, while I'm 24. On top of that, my FPS dropped to like 2. For the first timer ever, great ain't it.

I got a couple accounts I'm leveling up and I'm still using standard armor. I really want to upgrade my armor but I also don't want to risk using the credits and then regret it when the new armors come out :(

Anyways, anyone have any good experience with the infantry armor? It's -speed but not too much, is it dramatically slower that you can't strafe? (cause that would just be....suicide)

I'm also thinking about the sentry armor, but...that armor really just have two sorta useless traits, +clo and +ts. The former doesn't really help with experienced players, and the latter was reported to have next to no effect. Does it have slightly higher def than the standard? (do all armors?)

I know, though at least two or three forumites have reported that their TS haven't really helped =/ I mean, by all means, if you really think TS helps and let me know. From their "reports" I figured TS might just have a very minor effect (in the decimals instead of integer, for example); I'd love to know if it does help a little, if not somewhat.

No please don't tell me the ping sucks in europe also. Well can't get worse then I have now^^. In group matches I can get lucky hits, but at my lvl it's 1 vs 1 most times and then well... I'm a sitting duck really. Can't get any hits and the others 2 shots me back. Even I tried to sneak up to dvessel and get like atleast 2 shots on him then he turns we strafe dance a little I get some hits more, but he hits back and I die in 2 hits. This does suck very much. Same story with some lvl 36 guy and I'm lvl 48. Please Ngmoco the world is bigger then Amerika. Fix this please!

The Rocket Launcher should never be your primary weapon. It's great for evading, throwing off your opponent and softening them up. I also use it when there's a clusterf*** because the frame rate drops to the point where I can't aim with the Vaporizer.

When using rockets, I'd recommend switching back and forth very often since the damage is relatively small when aiming at others feet.

What can I say? I don't mean to kill a lower level but this is how the system works. I'd rather play someone closer to my level. My armor is weak so any lower lvl player can get a kill on me.

well i tried edge and 3gs with t-mobile and it sux. i also played via wifi with 1&1 and with Alice and sometimes it's good but usually pings are too high and there are many frameskips. btw i think i played vs u today, and that was like spray and pray because again of the jerky gameplay.

I suppose once you get to higher levels and have everything you've ever wanted then it'd get boring. It would for me. ngmoco has 1.1 update in development though, so that should be good.

I don't think I'm getting my power cells from Touch Pet Dogs. I know in the beginning people have been having problem with this. Anyone else still has this problem? Maybe the devs got to enjoying playing Eliminate so much they forgot :D :p

Just realised charges are at 120sec, so I sat and played 6 or so matches before needing to charge my touch.

Nothing but people who camp the shield, I will be glad to see the back of that if ngmoco adjusted it in v1.1, one guy would go for the shield on tank then run away and hide when not fighting, run to the 2nd shield and repeat.

I'm finally starting to beat level 50's with more ease. I'm level 41 so I'm still not fully upgraded, but almost. I've played terrorist for the past few matches and it's been pretty equal. We've tied a couple of times, I've beat him once or twice and he's beat me a couple times, as well. The good thing is that he hasn't beat me 10-0 like he used to. Now it's more of a 8-5 type thing. I also noticed that when we're face to face, I don't get killed in one or two shots and I've actually killed him while 'dancing' in a face to face.

Once I'm level 50, it'll finally be equal!

P.S. I know it's not terrorist's fault it hasn't been equal. It's ngmoco's. It's just nice to fight against people your own level since your gear is more equal.

I'm finally starting to beat level 50's with more ease. I'm level 41 so I'm still not fully upgraded, but almost. I've played terrorist for the past few matches and it's been pretty equal. We've tied a couple of times, I've beat him once or twice and he's beat me a couple times, as well. The good thing is that he hasn't beat me 10-0 like he used to. Now it's more of a 8-5 type thing. I also noticed that when we're face to face, I don't get killed in one or two shots and I've actually killed him while 'dancing' in a face to face.

Once I'm level 50, it'll finally be equal!

Yesterday I had a weird bug. i was playing, and suddenly, out of the blue, I unlocked all achievements! It was cool, and I was really happy. I thought it was the best glitch ever. So I start another match, and halfway through it I lose my connection. I restart the app, and when I look at the achievements, they were all gone.:( Oh well.

It'll work for a little bit and run smooth then the joystick and strafe totally stop working. It's annoying I've lost close to 600 skill level points because of this today and have tried all of the obvious fixed. This game would be a lot more enjoyable and PLAYABLE if the gameplay ran more smoothly on a more frequent basis. Done ranting :)

Boy, I think the promotions/short recharge times may be going too far.

I was fine with the four hour recharges -- but I understand they probably wanted to see if they could raise the review average by shortening the recharge time (so far it hasn't worked and the game is vastly underated at three stars,) but I saw last night the game had dropped to like 17 on the highest grossing lust and now today it's out if the top 50.

I guess they know what they're doing, but it seems like they're costing themselves a lot of profit in the hopes of appeasing those who felt like the game was unplayable without energy or if they ever had to pay anything for it, and so far not only hasn't the review score improved, but for awhile yesterday it had actually gone down. Plus, all the people playing nonstop are going to earn all the credits and levels they'll ever need and will never feel any need to buy energy so they can reach a new level or upgrade some armour.

Just my opinion, of course.

So I recently upgraded from plasma cannon to vaporizer, and I noticed I immediately started sucking. Whereas before I could strafe around and kill people with much more powerful weapons, I find it very difficult to kill anyone with a vaporizer, unless they happen to pop up right in front of me. I guess this is a combination of its requiring a high degree of precision/having ridiculously long reloads (sometimes, I think it just disappears for a while...). I'm also not sure about its range.


Anyway, I'm trying to decide if I should try investing more credits/levels into upgrading the vaporizer, or give up and do something else (antimattter?). Could anyone spare some advice? Does it get better? It also might help if I practiced/turned off auto-fire...

1. Autofire is pointless wih the vaporizer because by the time it shoots the enemy is out of ur crosshairs.

2. Stick with it you'll get better. We all went thru the awkward stage of learning to use the vap.

3. Stick with it because once you get higher in lvl you'll be fighting pure vaporizers and you won't be able to keep up with any other gun.

4. The reload times get significantly faster and once you get to 5/6 beams, it'll be enough to kill an enemy so the reload won't even matter.

5. Try keeping the enemy a little to the left of ur crosshairs for a higher hit/miss ratio.

6. I have all guns 10/10 and trust me the vaporizer is the only one worth shit.

Edit: I disagree with shiz. Don't use the PC, it'll only ruin your ability to have an accurate shot. Learn to use the vaporizer and your aim with all the other guns will go up with it. And save ur credits for the vaporizer because ur gonna end up using it exclusively anyways.

yeah I use the vap, but only when I face people my level. Usually I face level 30-39s and my vap does shit to them.

In the lower levels, everyone has a PC which can't hold a candle to a stream of bullets from the AR. They miss most of the time. Lately, I've been getting my ass beat. Mostly upper 30's. I need to unload at least 2 clips to the head to drop them.

Here's a screen shot at lvl 16. I only played him because he was a really bad player. Look at the skill diff. Not so much.

From what I have read, the one most hated thing about Eliminate is that you have wait for energy to recharge (right now, the time is short, but it used to be something like 240 minutes). Okay cus it doesn't seem like anyone has upgraded aquatics cus I play even level 50s and they walk slow in water too

I got a couple accounts I'm leveling up and I'm still using standard armor. I really want to upgrade my armor but I also don't want to risk using the credits and then regret it when the new armors come out :(

Anyways, anyone have any good experience with the infantry armor? It's -speed but not too much (I think I might have played with some people who had infantry), is it dramatically slower that you can't strafe? (cause that would just be....suicide)

I'm also thinking about the sentry armor, but...that armor really just have two sorta useless traits, +clo and +ts. The former doesn't really help with experienced players, and the latter was reported to have next to no effect. Does it have slightly higher def than the standard? (do all armors?)

What about the assault?

I didn't know there was a button to push in that level. After you said that I had to go see for myself. Yep, 2 buttons on each side. You learn something new every day.

Are u playing with autofire? Always i if tap on the screen to shoot I look to the right. So i cant aim and shoot -.-

edit: perhaps i got too much sensitivity? now at 100%

edit2: I just startet using vaporizer... really hard to aim and shoot... but works xD

Start with lower sensitivity with the vap, then move up as you get more comfortable with it. And auto fire is not a good idea either.

Same here. I just played him and beat him 6-1. He only goes for the shield, so it gives me time to get health and just vaporize him. He's pretty weak with his rocket launcher.

I'm faster than him somehow, and took the shield right when he was running for it like 3 times hahaha.

The only level 50 I play a lot that I know I'll lose is dvessel >=O
