Well, I put up with this game for about a week after re-installing it. I've just deleted it again. Put me in the camp of people who refuses to play this game until ngmoco takes care of the lag issue. On my 3G, the game has been lagging HORRIBLY. I just lost 800 skill points (from 8500 to 7700) in a heartbeat because (1) I get dropped in the middle of a match; or (2) if I somehow manage to stay in, the lag is so bad that there's absolutely no way I can aim accurately, not to mention I'm essentially a sitting duck.

What's frustrating is that it goes in-and-out -- when I finally get a lag-free game and think it's ok, then the lag hits again -- so I just simply don't know what I'm getting into when I hit the play button. I clear my memory using the MemoryInfo app every time before playing, as well as turning on airplane mode (w/ wifi on obviously), and it still makes absolutely no difference. I don't know how NOVA can be essentially lag-free for me, but this game makes me want to throw my phone into the wall, although thankfully I've restrained myself.

I'll keep my mouth shut about the shield-camping/bashing that's just absolutely dominating gameplay, since I've b!tched about that enough. But I do want to say that frenchy732, who's around 9000 "skill" level, is the biggest f'ing douchebag shield camper.

1. Welcome to the camp. I can completely relate to your problems. I hope the next update will be all about performance and control options. At this point I don't even care about new levels and weapons. Without proper performance it's impossible to aim and therefore to win and play. Who wants to play a game if you're getting owned because of problems that you can't control. If the controls and lags are still persistent in the next update I will be very disappointed.

2. That's exactly what I said like two weeks ago...it makes me want to throw my 3GS against something really hard. It's not it's fault though.

3. Yeah, I think he is a known shield-basher. I played him a few times and had to run for cover. But I don't hate on those people...if that's their style it's ok... I mean it's like a totally different strategy to a FPS game :)

I haven't played this game for ages! I guess I kicked the addiction. It no longer became enjoyable having to play with so much lag and ngmoco not helping.

I had sent an email to ngmoco to ask for my follower list to be emptied over 2 weeks ago and I have yet to receive a reply. Thank you for your great support, ngmoco.

Yeah, we both had those lags for some time now... Now more US people are coming up with the same problems...Hopefully they will get fixed.

Yea it seems kinda pointless to level up at this stage. Also I've heard from booyaka once you get to 77 there are no more prototypes to buy. Even the ones that get unlocked at 69 gt taken away from the buy gear section. 3 games a day at 70 cr per game means like a month to gt one level higher. I haven't played eliminate in a while to be honest. It's just not fun any more owning people to death. What's the point?

Nice to hear we are having the same doubts right now... For me the most fun was leveling up and getting the next upgrades and getting into matches looking forward to finding out how much things have improved by spending those credits. It's not even about winning but more about feeling the difference in weapon and armor performance. Right now I don't even spend my credits anymore. I have the vap, infiltrator, airborne, rocket launcher fully upgraded...that's it... don't see any reason to upgrade other weapons. Plasma Cannon is just not strong enough. Antimatter is just not my style. Other armors are just way to slow for me... Being fast enough to run away is always fun in this game even if you get killed faster.

I think I will hit the Apple Store to test out game performance on a iPod touch 3rd Gen. I never had the feeling my 3GS is slow, but those lags are just crazy.

don't even bother man. my sister got a 3gs and I put my 3rd gen and 3gs side by side and I was surprised to find out 3rd gen touch doesn't even take advantage of the open gl 2. The guns all look like shit on the 3rd gen compared to the 3gs, not to mention the lack of character shading and detail.

And coming from a person who experiences absolutely no lag ever, after playing on the 3gs I found out that the 3rd gen doesn't even have as good framerate as the 3gs. Did they just totally forget to include the 3rd gen touch in the same category as the 3gs? Wtf?

I never get lag when regarding my connection on either device. The 3gs plays much better than the 3rd gen touch because of the smoother framerate.

You forgot matchmaking. I'm not a whiner, but matchmaking by skill is bullshit and totally not fun. I am level 42, and yesterday my skill was 6000+, today only about 5000. Why? Not because of the lag. Not because of the controls. But because I have ZERO chances against 60-70+ levels with the same skill. When I play people my level, I win 99% of the time. And matches should be based on level. That way the skill matters. Not the upgrades. If they don't adress matchmaking in the next update, I'm done for sure. I know it's naive to think they will, but I still hope, because I like Eliminate.

My noob account is Level 20 right now and I'm level 6500 or so. I beat lvl 60-70 no problem. You have to land more shots than you can take but that's Ok. I was surprised to see how good I actually can keep up with higher leveled players even completely without upgrades on everything. I could beat level 7000-8000 easily if I could only see them faster and with less lag in game. Most of the time I have to predict their movements and aim in respective directions.

There is no better way to match than skill even if there are differences in gears and ranks. Playing it again from level 1 on my noob account I have realized that there are many level 50+ players who can't play. They have a skill level of 7000 and below which is not much considering they are fully upgraded and after level 48 all players should have equivalent gears.

Matching those by rank levels would mean letting pros with 9000+ skill play with them. Those games would be 10-0. ALL THE TIME! I guarantee that!
That in the end would mean that the further you've come with energy the more difficult the game will get and if you are unskilled your game will end 10-0....every time after reaching level 50+... that would suck! Those people would have bought energy by that time...spent time playing and end up being matched against people who are just more talented or have a ping/connection advantage... for unskilled players that would mean their game and competitiveness ends at some point in time.

Weeks ago I was criticizing the matchmaking by skill myself but now I see there is no better way to do it. Maybe a mixture of skill and level. If I play Nova my games end 50-0 or and end by people leaving my match. That's because I get matched with noobs 99% of the time. That is cool for me, but who wants to own people way below your skill all the time? Eliminate is very challenging that way.

Reading throught other Eliminate threads I've come to believe many players still don't understand the fact, they don't need energy in order to play.

Maybe after the first game or so, or after after using up the current energy, the user should receive a message Saying: "Thanks for completing your first matches with your energized suit. Your energy ran out. Energy is necessary in in order to earn credits. However, you can always play online even if you are currently out of energy". Most of the stupid ratings on the App Store here in Germany come from people saying more or less: "WTF?!?!?! I played 3 matches and need pay money now, cause I can't play anymore! Instantly deleted...what a ripoff!!! Don't buy any other ngmoco games...and they sell your infos to others too!!!!!". Also you should make clear what the info collected will be used for, people are acting like you are selling their souls.

PS: Calling a free game a rip-off and give it a bad rating because of that is impudent!

Yeah, I understand that and I'm not saying you're wrong. In fact you're right! I'm having the best connection here in Germany too and I'm lagging all the time on my 3GS even. I have no chance against Terrorist et al if a lag too. I get killed before I even get to see them or get to aim at them. It sucks and is killing the fun completely. I've played Eliminate on my 2G iPhone too and it should be about the same experience as 3G and I have to admit you have no chance against skilled players on 2G/3G. No matter how hard you try you can't aim and will constantly have a disadvantage against iPod 3rd gen / 3GS. On top of that you will have a disadvantage with your connection. That's why I've stopped playing right now since the lag has become out of control for me. It's impossible to predict where players might have moved while aiming and the scrolling effect adds to the complexity in aiming/predicting and being hit (vibrations) just kills it completely. I'm sorry you are having the same bad experiences. I'm hoping the performance issues will be solved and have the highest priority.

you need to learn to run when possible. Gravity hook is good too (The game now turned into hit and run for me and those guys in tankers cant follow me with my sniper and yea)

JinJin - I have bought all weapons, and I have the gravity hook. Used it for some time, but higher level players seem to have no problem dealing with it. I play with Tanker armor, so it's easy to find me. Also, sniping is not my style. And my favourite Antimatter Jet is useless for sniping. Vap is my secondary weapon, but I rarely use it, because it's hard to target with the lag I experience. Also, I taunt all the time, and bodies disappear after being killed by a Vap, that's bad.

That actually is not what the targeting sensors upgrade does, just a common misconception. It actually increases the damage you deal per shot no matter what weapon you use.

Agreed! I'm sure the next update will contain 2-3 new maps, better controls and a performance update so you can call it Eliminate Pro S on all devices.

It says you're beta testing it in your signature :) Will try it once I'm back home. Eliminate is still the most beautiful game for me...not because of the detailed graphics but because of the overall design... the HUD/GUI etc. I still love the design so much.

I think the most important updates right now are

1. performance optimizations (lags are fun-killer #1)
2. option to turn off the scrolling in controls
3. button to remove all followers (performance killer #1)
4. New permanent weapon
5. Ability to choose levels to play. Most people have the same 3 levels they favor, so it's no problem since most people would have agreed to play in the same 2-3 levels anyway.

And of course new levels are always nice to get people back into the game. If there are resources right now I think it would be cool if you could introduce a new map every 14 days on Sunday...to make Sunday a Mapday. What do you think guys?

Eliminate Pro should be the PRO FPS IMHO for the iPhone. For this you should really focus on performance increase. I don't care if the graphics will get worse or anything. There's nothing more important than fluid gameplay.

Thanks! I know you guys are working hard... Those are the most important updates right now. I know it's not possible get all of them delivered within the next update. It's just my personal priority list. Didn't want to sound rude or anything. I'm happy with the content as it is... for me the lags make it impossible to play right now against other higher-ranked players... I've created a noob account now (lvl 23 skill 7500 or so) and own level 60+ and above, which is a lot of fun to play actually... but kinda sucks for them to see them lose against a level 23 when they are fully upgraded. Now I feel bad every time I win. Most people rage-quit and might think I'm cheating and start questioning the fairness of the game. I want to be able to compete against my higher-ranked friends so the lag issue is #1 priority as you've heard like a 1000 times already :) ...sorry for the long post once again.

I don't want to have à free Choice for Levels because some Guys have the Same tactic in favorite Maps. I think the Best Way is to make possible mapchoice in friendly Games and Not in the big Area.

I see. I'm currently playing on my noob account, so that's why there's no considerable difference for me. But you're right, after a couple of weeks in the top 25 people get way too many followers. Login times increase and the game seems to lag in game. I also noticed if you get that "You have new followers" message on start up and you click on "confirm" the game will be more laggy than if you chose to click on "cancel". But that's not the main problem in lags. The game itself is laggy.

IMHO the problem is:
a) people being matched by skill and not by ping times. good pings and connection play against bad ones etc.
b) graphics are tooo detailed and require too many resources even on a 3GS. In NOVA the graphics are also very detailed but only the ones in your sight... it renders the graphics while you run so everything a couple of meters away is blurry.
c) the higher the rank the higher the lag! Because of upgraded armors and speed mods opponents seem to fly past without having a chance to notice them. I get to see them like every 2 meters when they run so it's impossible to know where they are because they are WAAAAYYYY too fast.

I think right now the game should be about getting those lags "eliminated" and then later focus on content. Most people I know here stopped playing because of lags or because most of their friends stopped because of lags. New weapons are cool but won't bring the hardcore fans back to playing like before. It's like the switch from 3G to 3GS...most people I know love the speed.... it's the same for the game... it needs to be more fluid or basically as fluid as technically possible. NOVA is very fluid IMHO but it very flat in gameplay.

BTW: alucard999 is from US... he hates the way skill level reductions are handled ...and is experiencing lags lately too.

Yea, it's because they only fixed the lags coming from having too many followers in the Plus+ system. You are not in the top 25 so most people won't feel the need to add you to their friend lists. It's different if you are on top of the skill leaderboard. People will add your account to their friends lists even without knowing you all the time. I get like 50-100 followers a day. So after a month there are thousands of them and it takes ages to load the list and consumes scarce resources as it remains loaded up in the memory I guess.

Well glad to see the shield bashing will be in style till ng gets wise enough to just remove it entirely. 10 games, I won 7 mid 2 lost a 1v1 and lost 150 points... Breathes in deep, you know, through the nose, in the morning fresh air all that folgers coffee commercial shit, WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? I tracked this just for people, 10 games, I died a total of 26 times and was bashed 18 times. At one point I almost rage quit but thought better of it.

Ahhhhhh, exhales long breath, just all reminds me of why I quit in the first place. So I guess I'll be on making the best of the situation that we have dealing with all of these adverse conditions.

And just btw, anyone going global, beware of yoyoma503, he us the guy who killed me in the 1v1 he beat me 9-8 with 7 shield bashes, I had 1. He's also a rocket spammer and god damn the rocket lag on top of the regular lag, lol, at one point in flood I was going up the elevator to get the health, heard rockets blowing up then I was dead by the damage amplifier? Of course it says yoyoma shield bashed alucard... Grrr...

It looks like it lets existing users add 16 additional powercells to their account. I am downloading it now. It seems like if they were going to release a new version, they at least could have made some fixes to it at the same time.

It never gave me any additional cells at all. I haven't even been able to play a match in 3 weeks now. It loads to the map screen, then goes black, then it says game over and I press next match and it shows the map, then black, then game over, over and over. It is not my internet connection nor my devices which it is actually on my 64 gig touch running no less than 85 mb free at any time and my 3gs iphone. It still takes 3 minutes est. to connect to server upon starting up the music skips badly while connecting:( I have just about done away with this game now. I am level 40 and 7528+ skill.

The weapon looks good to me... It shows up as fully upgraded and is a nice break from the vap.

Is the a fully upgraded assualt rifle better or the same as the mag-rail prototype?

I just downloaded it... haven't opened it yet but i was wondering the same thing. I noticed a changed in the description about content additions but is that all? iirc we have those additions already update in-game from the original app. or is it just the 16 powercells?

I think it is an attempt to give more visibility to the app. If everyone who already owns eliminate downloads the new 16 powercell version, then ngmoco expects the new version to rise up the iTunes list increasing it's visibility and the number of new eliminate players.

I do like the new icon look better, but I agree the 16 bothers me enough to where I will be keeping the original, and deleting the new version.

Don't know about your loading issues, but it seems to get your additional cells, you have to run the new game, then go back to the original one, and the cells will be there (or probably restarting the new one would work as well). For some reason, they just don't show up when you first run the new one (at least they didn't for me).

And yeah, I like the new icon as well, but am also a bit wary of the 16 - though I'd guess it doesn't mean anything (except what comes with the game initially). The promotional explanation thespartan gave sounds possible.

The in-app downloading of content isn't helping the game as far as promotion goes. I dunno if updates count as downloads but in-app downloading of content updates won't help getting the app back into the top25 rankings where it get's real exposure. I don't mind downloading updates from the App Store if that helps the game. People don't get the logo and why it makes sense to have both apps. The old logo is light colored -> For day use only! The new logo is for night games only!!! JK :)
Two apps is cool...the new one will be used for my noob account, so I don't have manually log in and out.

Make sure you've logged into Plus+ once with Eliminate 16 to credit your account, then few free to delete the new app. You can launch and play from either.

Please delete Eliminate and reinstall the app from the App Store. If you download the new content that we push to the app over a poor Internet connection (or particularly 3G), the file occasionally gets corrupted and can cause all sorts of performance issues.

You're right. One is XIII and the other is VI. XIII has only +3 damage and VI +6. That's all relative to it's roman numeral or does the higher one has less damage overall?

Seriously, I got nova, and I find the multiplayer lame- the health system sucks and you need wifi. Matches don't feel competitive
Eliminate feels more deep, and it serves great pick up and play shooting. My only problem is the shield bashing

I don't mind getting those invitations but I was disappointed to see there were no new levels or stuff, since my last login. This message was meant for those who were absent for weeks to let them know, stoff has changed since in-app-downloads suck for ngmoco people need to fire up the app in order to see them. On the other hand updates through the App Store are easily seen as you get a badge on your App Store icon and most people have that on their first page so it's good way to remind people do download the update and start playing again.

I would recommend ngmoco on fixing the lag issues by reducing the graphics, code optimizations, new faster servers in Europe and Asia. Then I would focus on bringing out one new map per week or so. Maps are the best content for people since everybody is interested in them independent from individual preferences. While weapons and other mods are interesting for those looking for new stuff as they are currently unhappy with their equipment.
After such an update, please spam people with those Push-Notifications like: "Thanks to your commitment and our current success we're pleased to introduce our new facility "XXX". Enter the party now and earn 16 free cells!" Or even better 2-3 hours of free energy:)
I promise you people will start to love those messages. FREE CELLS and a new Facility that sounds like a good day to jump in again. People need to have new maps constantly because the gameplay can get very repetitive after some time.

I can't lower my skill... while I'm energized I get full matches because energy needs to get used up :) and once it's up I get matched with games in progress and therefore can't lose skill. How did you do that? I don't want to lower my skill for 4 weeks to get back to where I'm now in 1 day.

You can lose skill when you're not energized if you start a match at the beginning. Most times if you're not energized, you'll join a match in progress and unless you join that match really, really early (in the first few seconds), you won't lose any skill. That said, even when I was 8000 skill, I'd venture to say that when not energized, I'd still get a fresh match every 5 or 6 times.

If you want to tank your skill level quickly, the thing to do is just forfeit the match right off the bat (go to the menu screen and just quit the match) rather than wasting any time playing, and then try to play again and hope to get put into a new match. It actually only took me like 2 days to tank my skill from the 8000s to the 600s or so. At its lowest, I brought it down to under 100.

I was around level 30 during this time, and was just frustrated at the matchmaking because I was getting matched up with upper 40s and 50s every single time, and their maxed out gear was just tough for me to consistently win and earn more credits to level up, so I decided to tank and beat up on noobs to level up quicker. Luckily, some of this was before ngmoco launched their second upgrade cost hike and their cap on taunting. Before that taunting cap, I was consistently raking in 120+ credits/game. After I was able to max out my gear, I went back to normal play and got back up to my old skill (and more) in a couple of days, but eventually quit because of the lag and the gameplay got a bit boring for me.

I did play Eliminate just recently after this supposed lag fix by ngomoco, but for me, nothing's changed. The lag hasn't changed, and I'm in the US. If anything, it made it WORSE, because now, the program crashes randomly (sometimes at the home screen, sometimes while I'm on plusplus, and sometimes during gameplay). Granted I'm using an iPhone 3G, and not the newest Touch or 3GS, but this never happened before. This happens both on my maxed-out account, and my noob account, so I stopped playing Eliminate again.

Speaking of which, I do have to say that I'm just appalled at the number of horrible players who are level 30s or 40s. With my crappy level 6 or 7, 3000 skill player with minimal upgrades to my AR and infiltrator armor, I was consistently winning matches with level 30+s who had no clue what they doing. And there are so many players that are level 30 or 40 all the way down to 2000 skill that every single one of my matches with that noob account are against players 20 or 30 levels ahead of me. I'm not sure if they are embarrassed to see that they got pwned by a low-level player like me, but they should be. That said, after I hit about skill 3500/level 7, I did seem to hit a wall where I wasn't have quite as much success and my low-level gear became much more of an obvious disadvantage. I am constantly winning against level 60-70 opponents with my level 24 player. That's just awful!!
The hardest part right now is not the opponents but the getting used to those lags and how to respond in situation. You have to have a good backup strategy when opponents just fly by without any chance to notice them. That's funny for 2 matches but I don't see myself spending real money on energy EVER if those problems get fixed. I'm really disappointed having paid so much money (we are talking about console game money here) for having a huge disadvantage connection wise.

On my noob account im level 25 now and start to loose against skill 8500 players, which is just not fair because of their gear and the connection and the fun keeps on dying. I was thinking about lowering my skill level too... and did it just like you, with match quits etc. But after quitting like 2 matches in a row, I get matched with games in progress all the time from there on. I don't want to spend several hours having to enter and quit matches...that's just some retarded way of wasting time IMO. I wish there was an other way to reset skill level.

Okay, I will stop doing that... it's just not fun anymore... I feel sorry for those n00bs. It's even worse than playing against bots. (At least they jump like they're on crystal meth:D). But honestly... If you get your skill down to say 700, you meet all sort of pro's I honestly lost a game 10-0-0-0 against someone called foxfire or something like that... He was skill level 13 and killed me with his AR in one SHOT :D :D :D WOOOOOOT?!?!?!?! I had no chance with my vap and I usually don't even get hit against n00bs. Also I have the feeling there are more skilled players within skill level 1000-2000 than 8000-10000. I'm serious, it's unbelievable :D

Is it just me or does it seem really unlikely that people will be playing eliminate on the islate? I mean with how much larger the screen is you can no longer use your thumbs for controls, you will have to like use 4 fingers of makes fists for makeshift joy sticks. Maybe im confused, but i dont see there being a benefit of a bigger screen if it makes it insanely harder to control, when we already have a hard control scheme...

Has anyone noticed the trend in antimatter jets lately? It seems like alot of people are using them lately, i was actually in tank earlier with 3 others all using antimatter. Needless to say, that was not very fun, not only does it make the game lag unbelievably, but all u see is purple balls all over the place... not my cup of tea to say the least, and in tank, they are virtually unavoidable. Like you end up with 2 choices, a. go and try to kill them and die to random noobs ball hitting you, and its not like they hit you intentionally, there just firing away, or b. try to snipe them and lose anyway cause they just a big purple ball festival in another room!

And one more thing, the lag on the game has been ridiculous lately. Normally i would rate the lag i experience at a 1.5/10 but for about the last three days i would say on average its more like 6/10 peaking out at 9.5/10. I mean even in personal matches, i was playing a friend at runoff. I grabbed the damage amplifier up top and the teleported through the wall to the corner leading down to the elevator? And i mean i didnt even get shield bashed through it this time, the game just pulled a houdini on me. I hope that doesnt happen to me in global...

Congrats to Andrew1995e on 2nd place in skill (not that it matters, "you always told me if your not first your last" and thats pretty much the truth, cause aint no one ever gonna pass terrorist until either they reset the skill board, or he decides to let someone pass him.) All im saying is that there is really no point in getting up high, all it does is make you wary of your skill and make you not want to play global. I let myself slip from 3rd to like 15th or 20th awhile ago, and i have been having so much more fun just going on and playing to kill instead of playing for skill.

Just chiming in that I've been getting tons of lag lately too. I usually get some lag, but lately it's getting ridiculous. It's an awesome game, but the lags really cripple it. Especially when lots of rockets are going off.

We probably get the worst lag here in Europe... I played a couple matches this morning at 7.00 am to see if it's better in the morning and YES there's VERY little lag for me at 7 am German time ( 1 am NY, 10pm San Francisco time)... I was very surprised by that ... I guess I've found the right time slot to play for me now.

If you think about it it really makes sense... since most US players are either sleeping or preparing for bed. And in Europe it's way to early to play... so that's the only time I've found without any issues and that's some good news for me.

ngmoco is currently investigating all that and do their best to "eliminate" the lag as far as possible... I hope they will find a way soon.

So I think I may have figrured out the lag issue. Now I'm not computer tech or anything so this may be completely wrong, so don't jump my shyt about it.

I have notices that I only lag when certain players are on. Mainly my friend strakhov. When he is on, I lag in every game I play, and when we play, I lag even more. There are a few other friends of mine who I have the same issue with. I'm not sure how the servers work at all but if a European player is playing say an American plyer, does that connect to different servers? Or do I just not understand how that works. Cause also my friend hiko (lazy) has the same effect on me. I just noticed this so maybe it's just coincidence, but worth mentioning.

And when I got to thinking about it, I realized that I virtually never lagged before I added strakhov as a friend and played a 1v1 with him. It's strange but from then on, I started glitching through walls, lagging insanely, and having wat seemed Like a hacked acct.

Just saying, if it's possible, maybe it shud b looked into. Cause I was on earlier at like 3:00 California time, had like 9 friends on, all American and had zero

Yet, I continued to play on, hoping to at least have one enjoyable, lag-free game, which proved to be elusive. Oh well, at least one benefit is that my skill got crushed, so I can now go against lower level players to earn more credits. No need to tank my skill since ngmoco did it for me.

I think you're right. I've noticed exactly the same thing. For me it's Terrorist... I usually tend to lag in 7/10 matches but with him in the game it's the worst ever. I lag mostly when playing against American/Canadian players. If I play right now, where most of you guys sleep and therefore against European opponents 80% of the lag is gone. It lags somewhat but that's ok, it's not like I can't aim or look around. I remember when I played against terrorist I didn't even have a chance to look around and notice him. Once I saw him I was already gone, it's that bad. So I think that's exactly the problem. I don't understand how the network works but I'm sure playing against European opponents and we all get matched by the Amsterdam servers. Playing against American players there are two servers in between I guess.

I also noticed that the game lags far less if you play against lower level players since there are far more of them and you will probably get matched with people in your area. After I demolished my skill on my noob account I was thrilled to find out that the lag was mostly gone because a) they are not that far upgrade with those infiltrator armors and can't run too fast. b) They move less than higher skilled players. c) they can't throw 10000 rockets at the same time like upgraded player do. and d) they don't care about winning too much and some just leave the match, so there are only 1-2 opponents usually. So right now is like playing against bots but it's far more fun actually because of the lag-free gameplay. I don't know when I had this much fun playing for the last time, but after 20 lag-free matches yesterday I start to love Eliminate again. It's simply one of the most advanced and complex games in the AppStore. A great overall achievement by ngmoco.

Unsere server sind in Amsterdam und ngmoco hat jetzt auch einige Tests gemacht bezüglich deren Leistung. Ich denke das ist halt echt das Problem, dass wir evtl. dann auf dem US server landen wenn wir mit Amis spielen oder wir sind an unterschiedlichen Servern verbunden und die US Server sind einfach die Hauptrechner und deswegen haben die dort dann einen Vorteil. Hab jetzt aber gemerkt, dass es besonders schlimm ist wenn man gegen Amis spielt. z.B. zu ruckelt es bei mir morgens viel weniger als Abends. Hab jetzt mein skill level gesenkt und spiele zwar gegen n00bs aber es macht wirklich mehr Spaß, da es kaum ruckelt. Dein skill level kannst du wirklich schnell wieder aufholen. Hab gerade am Anfang viel zu sehr auf mein skill level geachtet und irgendwann macht es dann auch kein Spaß mehr.

BTW... I know how he climbed his way up the skill board...by wasting countless hours waiting in the lobby until most skilled players are offline and fragging n00bs for like 1 skill point for every 5 matches he wins. That's not cool...that's crazy. I don't even care about the skill level...that's one point you need to understand in order to enjoy the game. It's not about gaining skill it's about having fun playing.

I've created a new account and play this game from the beginning with no followers etc. That's the most fun you can get from the game. After lvl 50 there's no reason to level up since your favorite gear is maxed out then. I'm like lvl 74 on my expandin account and it takes me 6000 to get to 75 then it's like 10000 from 78-79... even if you play half a year you will still be like at lvl 80 or so. So who cares? I have like 30 000 credits saved up, not knowing what to spend them on currently. Most of the fun for me was playing it from lvl 1-50... after I reach lvl 50 on my noob account guess what I will do...I will get another noob account and do that all over.

PLUS there's less lag playing against n00bs. You can't imagine the lag we are experiencing here in Europe... if you had that lag you would have quit already. The problem is the mods and upgrades are just not compatible with the connection and servers right now... the infiltrator + speed power up + speed prototype is way too fast ... I don't even see those players it's that bad.

And I know u guys in Europe hve big lag issues. But it's only getting worse over here. And these days lag hasn't been my issue. It's glitching. Has anyone experienced where u get the feeling that ur being controlled by someone else? Like it happened to me while playing jkopp, who is a savage btw. But I took my hands off of my device and my guy continued to move. Like he would fly through walls and just appear at different places. It's pretty odd. That's the worse, u can compensate for lag, not that shit tho.

But it doesn't happen to you like all the time... the lags are always persistent. It sucks to know you are aiming correctly but your opponent is meters away from the stop you think he is...then he reappears right behind you...next frame you're gone. It happens all the time and even if you're playing on GodMode you won't have a chance against people having a better connection..it sucks to know that you cannot enjoy a game you pay the same price for as others who have a better experience. If energy in Europe was 5 times cheaper I would say ok that's because we have 2 servers in Europe and they have 10 in the US.

We have had these glitches here too... I was even running like 1 meter above the floor. Then I say people flying in the air without the power up. But it doesn't disturb that much.

Didn't ngmoco made enough money out of this game to set up some decent dedicated servers here in europe? There are some free mods that manage to get a good server..
The lag here in germany is really annoying. I'll change my itunes review.

Yeah it is... the further you level up the worse the lag you will get. I'm not sure if that's the server or the weed the administrators in netherlands are smoking... White Widow anybody? White Widow kills the lag completely...that's why the gameplay is ok for the administrators in the Netherlands. Imagine FPS Doug on White Widow playing counter strike.

The glitching only happens 1/20 games I think and how can that not b as bad as laggin? With lag at least u can try to compensate! With glitching u just don't control anything, maybe u don't know wat im experiencing.

And I've been doing some tests with servers based on where players are from. If u are experiencing lag add me as a friend so I can do some test: just simple having certain people on from certain areas is all.

The best tip to get rid of 50% of all lags is don't have any friends or followers. For me the followers are killing my expandin account. I can't play with that anymore. Right now on my noob account I can deal with the lag. It's not perfect but I love the calm games I have right now... it's so hilarious to play against noobs. I love on rails...I'm jumping over that thing in the middle over the main room the whole time while fragging some noobs...n00bs are like WTF is this guy doing?!?!? I would love to see their faces... It's so much more fun to play if you don't care about making mistakes. What I also love to do now is running past n00bs then make them turn and while they do that I will on the other side and do that like 5 times then HEADSHOT :) LOL

This game seriously makes me laugh sometimes... or the best ever take the berseker shield and jump on n00bs... and by jumping I'm literally mean jump like a kangaroo not run...it's so funny. It's like a totally different game... What I also love is I can actually guit a match if I don't like the map since I don't care about the skill level. So if I'm thrown into a map I don't like I quit and join another until I find the map I like. IT'S SO AWESOME!:D:D:D:D:D:D

BTW...how do you know what it is? You don't have that in the US! Why is it ridiculous? I can say that about beer-drinkers too...White Widow is COMPLETELY LEGAL YES LEGAL in Netherlands. Since Netherlands is my neighbor country I'm gonna step up against people calling their goods ridiculous. BTW... Alcohol is by far more unhealthy but the society accept it without any problem...
