Car Jack Streets out in a few weeks!

For those of you that don't use twitter - Tag games announced that Car Jack Streets for the iPhone is only weeks away! (http://twitter.com/taggames) can't wait for this one, looks like a fun old school GTA.

how much mature content will get through apple though? with all the fuss about alienmangle etc I'm thinking this one will have problems.

I certainly hope you're wrong on that count. But i don't think the gore is so extreme in Car Jack Streets (based on vids of mobile version) so they might be ok. Besides couldn't Apple just slap an 18 rating on it?

I think basically it depends on their mood, who reviews it. :)

They (Apple) don't seem to be very consistent with their rules, and really is just a gamble as to what gets through and why. I don't think there is a rhyme or reason anymore...

i just checked out the video for payback (didnt even know this one was coming). looks impressive but im not sold on how the camera stays fixed on you and everything else keeps moving around. (does that makes sense? lol)

I actually like the view in payback much better. You can see the road ahead a bit more. it's like top down but from behind a little too. And I think the rotating view makes the car and character easier to control. I'm looking forward to Payback more than the other.

I didn't ask but I don't have any idea where you see this... Maybe you should read the posts. This thread was made Jan 2nd, saying it'll be out in several weeks. It's been 3 months. That's all this thread entails.

EDIT: This game looks really promising, but I wish there was a game like this (open world/do anything you want type game) with an over-the-shoulder-view (like Brothers in Arms).

Just to clear things up the microsite www.carjackstreets.com still has the mobile game release date on it (Nov 08) the much improved iPhone game will be launched this month.

Actually if you are interested in the game do check the Car Jack site in a weeks time we'll be adding characters, vehicles, movies, developer video diaries and lots more from the end of next week building up to the launch of the game.

yes they sure will let it in the itunes store because payback didnt get burned ,neither did amateur surgeon or animals of mass destruction. ( all have intense blood and or killing)
