Hey guys,
I've had a few friend requests now, and have approved all of them.
I was just curious as to what the difference is if you're a friend with someone or not? Does it make any difference apart from showing them in your profile? You don't get any extra notifications etc do you?
Cheers,
Tim.

Opps. Can I move it to 'lounge' myself, or does an admin need to do it?

Its okay, I believe the friends feature makes it easier to send PMs to friends, you don't have to write heir whole name or something

And when you look at who's online, everybody is in plus edition if they're your friend.

Just kind of fun... there could be a social aspect to it...
just imagine.. if there are eventually good multiplayer games, then you have some people you kinda 'know' who you could play with/against..
the Steam buddy list is a great implementation of this

Thanks for the answers everyone. I guess I still don't really understand what the point of asking people to be friends is - apart from the quasi-social contact saying 'hey'.
That's all good though - it doesn't hurt either.

Galcon is probably the best multiplayer game I've played on the iPhone. What's yours?
Hmmm - I guess that's kind of off topic though - doesn't help explain touch arcade friends.
