Welcome to the Mystery Files Club - murder and mystery awaits!

Feel like playing detective? This is the game for you. In Jacques and Stella's Mystery Files club, you get to experience the fun and excitement of crime investigation with a roster of suspects, murder weapons, and clues to uncover. Your job is to interview suspects, search for the possible murder weapon and report your findings to the police when you're done. Each unsolved mystery can be played in short bursts, or it can be pursued in one sitting.

Find out a suspect's hobbies, his/her relationship with the victim, and his position at the the time the crime was committed. Clues are obtained by playing mini-games of varying difficulty. Up against a time challenge of just a few seconds, the mini-games are short and incredibly challenging, and range from a variety of activities from matching pairs, remembering sequences, to landing spacecrafts and reconstructing identi-kits. The more clues you want, the more difficult the game. Once the clues are collected, you can analyze your findings and draw your conclusions thanks to a nifty PDA that Jacques is simply thrilled about.

Gameplay is complex and layered - just the way I like it! For each suspect you interview, there are three mini-games per category, and with three categories, that's nine mini-games to master! On top of interrogating suspects, you also have a number of possible murder weapons to examine, with three mini-games each. If you want to sharpen up on your skills or don't feel like solving mysteries yet, you can play the mini-games independently of the main mystery. The mini-games, however, are just tools to help you get enough clues - at the end of the day, it will be your wits and logical mind that will do the solving.

The game has been compared with Clue and is touted as a more faithful rendition of the game for the iPhone/iPod Touch, the only difference being instead of choosing what questions to ask to get clues, you play mini-games to get the clues that you need. Humor is also part of the game's quirky charm, thanks to the banter between bumbling Jacques and the cool and collected Stella and their grumpy, sarcastic suspects.

Graphics and in-game sounds are delightfully retro in feel, and hearken to the good ol' days when crimes were solved through logic and wits rather than through CSI.

More levels in the next update and a bit more detailed help section/walkthrough for the mini-games would be great!
