I know. This one gets in, but they restrict iDrop Dead from any future updates because of the blood(replace it with flowers) Seriously? Or that shooting app where they kicked it out recently because they would not allow you to shoot an actual person? What the hell do you think this one is? "Drive by" yeah lets approve a game where we drive in a neighborhood and shoot up the people in their own yard? Hey it is their property, they are only shooting at you because they see you coming down the street to pull of your "Drive by." Hey lets release this one exclusively in the East LA (Calif) area, maybe the bangers will play this game instead of actually running drive bys this Friday night.

I guess approval in the app store depends on who's desk it comes across.

The game sucks. No wait, that might be too good of an impression. The trailer in the beginning of game is the best part - and you must watch it at least once before you can tap out of it. No amount of tapping the first time it loads will stop it. I know, because I tried. If the developers spent 10% of the effort on the game that they did on the trailer, this would have been a game worth at least $0.99 - maybe less.

There are no directions. There are no settings. It does not work with the acceleromater. Basically guys either roll up and try and shoot you or they try and shoot you from the street. Here's what you do - you tap. It took me 2 games to figure that out. You just tap the guys you want to shoot first. Sometimes you kill them (presumably). Sometimes you don't. I couldn't figure out why some taps resulted in kills and some didn't. You have a limited amount of bullets. When your bullets run out, your driver's side window (which is presumably bulletproof) rolls up - until you reload. I couldn't figure out how to get the window to roll up voluntarily - only seemed to roll up when I was reloading - since naturally, I presume, that's what gangbangers do when done shooting - they roll the windows up and reload. Maybe they get a car wash too, but at least that didn't seem to happen in the game.

Everytime you shoot a guy in the street or in a car that rolled up next to you, you earn some money. Couldn't figure out why sometimes you earned more or less dollars - but don't let that stop you from going ahead and trying to figure that out yourself.

Sometimes you come across a hot dog cart. If you shoot the hot dog cart (meaning that if you tap it while your possessed driver's side window happens to be down) and your shot happens by chance to register, a giant burger flies toward your car and you earn some more money - or maybe your belly gets full. Why does a burger come out at you when you shoot a hot dog cart? If you have to ask, then this game is obviously not for you. It's part of this app's charm. That and the blood splatter. Best part of the game.

I know that my powers of persuasion may convince some of you to give this game a whirl. Don't. Really. Don't. Throw the $3.00 in a Salvation Army container for the holidays. The thrill you get from doing that will be at least 100 times more entertaining then buying this game.

You know why Apple approved this game as opposed to some others which would appear a lot less questionable? It's because they knew that only 1 person (me) would be dumb enough to actually buy it and once I had the chance to tell my sorry tale, nobody else would ever want to play it.

i like these kind of games, good old gangsta style...yeah :D but the review from iago (thanks dude) didn't really look promising. Maybe worth it with a update. let's see if they improve it.
