Admin- a simple reason?

I'm not mentioning names, nor the original thread. However, it seems a thread was recently moved/removed and I don't think we were able to adequately discuss the topic among our fellow developers.

Is there a simple reason it was moved or removed? If it was moved, how do I locate it?
