I just made this one...

I had to do quite a bit to get the monkey to what it is now... I got "AiAi" from the iTunes store, cut him own, and even had to finish off his head as it got cut off. EEK!

I'm not too crazy about the wallpapers with the header and footers so I left 'em out.

What should the background be? I'm thinking of just shipping out the Photoshop file and letting you add your own... Anyone? I just added the swirly background, but I feel like it needs more. I starting doing a title, but I think it's too late for that. Maybe tomorrow. :rolleyes:

@chase: ppl still don't get that these take work to make. That background seems fine. Tomorrow when I get back to my computer I will post a photo shop file that is very useful. Someone posted it in the original thread; it shows where the slider clock and everything else goes. Also; tomorrow I should get the images I need to make a TouchArcade; Sim City; and Fuzzle wallpaper.

Yeah, I don't know. That took me about a half an hour. It's not extremely hard if you know some quick workarounds and such in the old 'Shop.

Just use the one on the site? If it's too small, make it bigger in M$ Word (it increases the pixels so it's sharp).

The apple isn't dominant because it was cut out of the pic and scrolled over (If you didn't notice already). Perhaps a bit of some sort of shading on the left hand side would help?

where did u get the brushes? there r tutorials i sometimes use that show u how to quickly and easily create a brush for x effect u want. google is ur friend.

Add some colour to it. That seems to be all the rage with the circle brushes these days. (splash in the slider)

A different, much simpler version to the one you have already created. Remove the words. Remove the reflection. Keep the background the same and the green slider box. Keep the logo the same size or only slightly increase it. Centre the logo across the screen but don't place it lower (I sometimes use an app to add a reward if found message just above the slider box). That would be great. No rush as I know you are busy. It looks good but you're right, it's not what I am looking for. I just want a really simple wallpaper with a small to medium sized TA logo on a dark background and a bright green box to surround the slider bar. The simple TA logo combined with the green box and dark background will look great on my iPhone with its metalic green case (I combined parts from two different types of cases from iFrogz to "achieve" my metallic green case - green is my favourite colour).

alright i got another wallpaper done, just edited me first zombie chav wall...theres 2 i didnt know which one i liked more (one has the boss zombie peeing under the clock box)...once again hope you like them......PM me for high quality......im gonna start a new wallpaper tonight, ive got a couple ideas coming on, im gonna do a touchgrind one, started an ironfist one but never finished it so ill do that after then maybe a flick fishing one....wow im gonna be busy

thanks. I just tried it on my ipod and it looks stellar. The slider is adjusted to the right brightness so it comes through at a great green color. Glad you like it.

all right this is my last one for tonight, ive got it done i just messed up the touch grind skateboard swish in the middle so i will fix that tomarrow... so i just wanted to give you a little peek at it, it doesnt look to bad, (once again quality is messed up when put on the forum:mad:)

looks pretty good, one thing though i would get rid of the text on the wheel and maybe change to color of the top bar or something. For some reason it doesnt feel right.

Yeah, on the top bar, make that section have an opacity of around the 65 - 75% mark. - I hope you saved the file as a .psd ;P
At rocket and Supg, your wallpapers own. hard. I'm loving the joker and the TG one, I wish I had half a brain to add the wheel, such a prime idea :D

BTW with my frogger one, I actually hate it :P I just was screwing round to get an example of how if you add bright colours under the black transpaprent clock and slider bars it kinda glows (for better example download Fan by Paulio :))

Oh, and just for wallpaper makers, when you post with the attachment, go to the post and ctrl+left click on the wallpaper (opens in new tab) copy the URL and then edit your post with that URL in it, takes the person strait to the high res (full res) picture ;)

Omg I can't believe I didn't think of taking the text of the wheel lol, and I'm gonna try all your suggestions tommarro ( and yes I did save it as a psd... I'm not a total noob)....and thanks for pointing out the clock box darkness I took another look and it does look to dark.... So if you guys have any more suggestions I wanna hear them, on any of my wallpapers... Well good night boys I'm out for the day :)

O and paulio thanks for the high res tip, I hated seeing those pics with so low resolution, definatly gonna use that on my next upload....thanks

Haha no I was just kidding about the noob thing....and I just realized that I won't be able to work on any other walls tomarrow I have Sunday all booked, I was planning on starting the flick fishing wallpaper after I finish touchgrind...Man this sucks

I want one! :D "pablo19" of just "pablo" anything that looks as cool as rickys is fine with me :D lol


One more thing, I love how you are all taking it so seriously, t's not an obligation, and not your job (you get paid with feedback, not really much) so you don't really need to justify not making a wallpaper in time or not making it at all, it's completely your choice so don't feel frustrated when you don't have time


P.S: I hope your not neglecting your kids in order to make wallpapers :eek:
