I was just about to post about this. Looks like it could be fun, i like the genre, but i think the price is too high for something that looks like it could run on an older cell phone. I'm sure we'll be seeing a ton of these dungeon crawlers on the iphone soon enough. Especially since ID studios is very interested on developing for the iphone, and their release of Orcs and Elves on other platforms should be the one to beat.

I like the format, but i think we'll be seeing better.

I guess it depends on the depth of the game. If it had the depth of either Bard's Tale or Ultima, $4.99 would be a fine. Perhaps aimed at an older audience, though, willing to forgive the graphics.

arn, I would really love to go back to the 80s and see a Wizardry port - although I'm sure that few people would buy it. It would bring back memories from high school - some great times!!

I remember playing this on my old PalmOS devices.

Think of it more as a port of a really old game called Dungeon Master (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dungeon_Master_(computer_game)) or one of the early Wizardry games.

I think you should try it out Arn, I've had it for a while and it made it's way into my top 20 games :) It's really enjoyable once you get into it. I would recommend it :)

Looks like the price has just dropped to US$1.99. (old news sorry) According to AppShopper, the originial published price is US$4.99. Guess it is something for Christmas.
