I know that when you publish an app you want to start with a bang and advertise a ton but how do you advertise for free. How did you guys advertise for your iphone app?

Or you can go with a publisher. That is a route that many developers take.

Publishers often get a lot of bad rep, but they do the marketing for you, which is a HUGE factor in the success, or failure, of an app on the AppStore.

yea but i was thinking of publishing myself because its free as you said publishers get some bad reputations and i think that i'm up for the challenge. I did a few quick searches on the forums and got a lot of great articles. the best article for pricing being http://majicjungle.com/blog/?p=66
