If i'm not mistaken, the Q/Reply orange button below people's posts allows you to reply to the message in the box right at the bottom of the thread right? If so, everytime I click on it, it leads me to the full reply page, with the person's post i pressed the Q/reply button appearing in between quote brackets. Any help?

EDIT: Oh i'm using Internet Explorer, version 7.

Ahh okay. It's just that this a new problem, it's never happened before. Odd. It's quite annoying because sometimes i just want to vent and can't wait that second!

Out of interest, have you tried a different browser such as Firefox to see if you can replicate the problem?

Hm almost sounds like you're hitting the Quote button. Or as if the Q/Reply button functions as the Quote button which would be a bug in the forum software I guess...?

Which brings me to ask why we need to click the Q/Reply in order to enable Quick Reply... It's not like that on other vB forums I visit.

That would be the issue. Try Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Chrome. Any of these are better than that ^. Chrome is my favorite, though.

Mine just jumps me down to the quick reply box. Of course, not on IE, but still. It works fine for me. Try another browser.

I don't know why, but i've never had this thing for having multiple browser softwares. Oh well, it's my loss. I agree with the person above though- why do we need to click on a button to access the quick reply box?

Or even Safari. That's what I use.

I use safari as well. After all, it's "The best browser ever". Or so apple says.

Are you on a Windows PC or a Mac? I have a Macbook Pro and I do use Safari myself. I like it's RSS handling and of course how the bookmarks sync to my Touch.

(sorry if this is going off topic)

I hear Safari on a PC isn't very good at all
