Why cant you just be appreciative that the Appvent Calendar even exist? Why complain? Its free.

Blacksmith Games should be rewarded somehow from apple or TA for taking the time to get devs to get into the Xmas spirit and offer something they have worked so hard on just to make people happy.

I personally want to take the time to acknowledge first Blacksmith games as well as all the Devs for sharing your passions with us consumers. It doesn't go unnoticed and because of it I thank you.

It's not only promotion, if that's all it was then why bother with the Christmas theme? They could do it all year round, they don't need the calendar there to offer up free apps. Yes there's promotion involved, but that promotion still required developers to give away potentially hundreds of copies of their game for absolutely nothing. In fact, the bigger the promotion got, the more money they'd be losing, so it almost works against them. There's definitely some festive spirit in there, no matter how greedy you suggest these devs are.

...and to be honest, you are being a bit of a Scrooge, because in your insistence that this is nothing more than free publicity, you seem to have forgotten the true meaning of Christmas yourself. Some people do like to give.

Send us a sketch/design/description for a unique fairytale Plushed Character. Send it to contest[at]appventcalendar.com (replace [at] with @). Please send only jpg,png,gif and please no zip.

It should be an enemy and should fit into the Plushed World. You decide its qualities (running, sitting, shooting, flying…). We recommend to play Level 5(Cotton Candy Park. Or just... y'know, GET AN IDEA. You're not forced to buy the game, there are images and videos about all over the place.
