No matter what I do, I am constantly stuck in a reboot cycle.
So far, I have hard-reset, and reJBed, and nothing.
I do not want to restore because the back up a lone took 7 hours, so that'll take over 12 hours easy.
If that's the only last option, I guess I'll have to, but if there's anything else I can do, please tell me.

DGH you're most likely going to have to restore. The same thing happened to me a couple days after I JB. It would reboot, then sit with the Apple logo for about 15 minutes, then flash a white screen and reboot again. I literally left it like that for something like 8 hours hoping it would just end itself, but it never did. I had to completely restore and re-JB, and go through the hassle of getting everything off Cydia again and re doing my folders. It sucked! The only good thing was I had just backed up like 3 hours before that happened, so I could keep all my game saves that I cared about. It sucks, but you'll be good as new after that restore.
Now that I know a full restore might be a possibility at any time, I try to plan ahead for it. I downloaded AptBackup from Cydia, which creates a list of all your JB apps so if you have to re-JB you can get all your Cydia apps back fairly easy. And, even though it's kind of a pain in the ass, I back up A LOT. And finally, I took screenshots of the different folders I've made and what games are in them, so if I have to do it all over again I have some sort of reference and don't have to go through 600+ apps one by one figuring out what folder I want them in. Hopefully this helps, restoring sucks but try to make it as painless as possible on yourself and plan ahead a little. :)

My story matches mine exactly.
I've restored (-ing), and it looks like it's gonna take forever.
Hopefully it'll be done tmrw morning, and I'll try reJBing and download BlueBird.
I'l report here if everything goes smoothly.

do you have USB 1.0 on your computer? it only takes like 10 minutes max to restore on mine... and backing up only takes like 20 mins.

I haven't backed up in 3 months... and have over 750 apps on my ipod, close to 2000 songs, and 20 movies.
That's why it's taking so long. >.<

Good choice. If it ever happens again, you might have to restore yet again :P But trust me, it is VERY hard to brick your ipod, but somewhat easier (way easier) on the iphone.
