What game(s) do you think have the best original soundtrack? I know there's been threads on iPhone games about this, but I wanted to see which console games had the best soundtrack. If there's a real song or two in the game, it's fine, just not a whole soundtrack like Guitar Hero or Brutal Legend. Provide an example if you want to. My picks:

1.) Dynasty Warriors 4. I could listen to that soundtrack all day.

That's during one of the earlier battles in the game.

2.) Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII.

3.) Doom 3 just for the opening theme. I don't think I need to provide an example here...

4.) Doom 1, simply for the E1M1 theme. Even in midi form it's an awesome song, and then someone went ahead and made this:

5.) Dead Rising. The boss battles had some great music. Example:
N2gl-EVBkNo
Plays during one of the best fights in the game. I know it's not an original song, but the majority of the soundtrack (which still sounds cool) is.

I really liked the opening theme to Genji. The battle music for Shogun Totalwar has also stuck with me.

GTA:vice city was also good. That and the hawaiian shirt made the whole game.

I've always been a big fan of the music in Einhinder on PSX and Little Nemo: Dream Master on NES. Oh, and I have an MP3 CD that's been in my car's stereo since the week I got it that contains the soundtracks for Mega Man 1-7. ;) Chiptune music is awesome.

GTA san andreas has the best soundtrack of any game, ever.
