There is the link to download it. It's only for Mac atm. It is tethered, and it says if you don't know what that means, don't use it. I probably won't do it, I don't think there is much use.

This is not exactly the 2G jailbreak. It's a tethered version. So after every reboot u have to go your computer. It's redsn0w lite.

It depends. The full jailbreak is unthered. Meaning your iPod can restart or crash as many times as it wants no problem. The hack stays there.

Now with the tethered jailbreak; after every restart you have to go to your computer. So if you are always near your computer should be no problem.

But read the readme at redsn0w.com

The Dev Team is not providing support on this one. IMO they released because the full jailbreak is taking long and babies in their comments wanted it now. So judge on what I said above.

Dont do it now. I have the 1G ipod, but I recommend you to not do this. Its not the full version. THe wait is worth it, dont screw your ipod if you dont know how to use this. Just an advice.

Jailbreaking DOES NOT void your warranty. Just restore if u have to send it to apple.
