View Full Version : Problems with iPod Touch screen?

I've had my iPod Touch for about six months now and, noticed, a few months ago while playing Angry Birds, that I couldn't always bring back the slingshot correctly or at all. In most cases I could zoom out some and then it would work correctly. However, I just got to the 3-2 level, and you can't zoom out so the birds just keep falling whenever I try to pull back the slingshot.

But over the weekend, I purchased Guerrila Bob thanks to the sale. And found I couldn't move to the right using the d-pad. Every blue moon, it would move that way, but it's pretty much made the game useless.

Most of my other dual stick shooters (MiniGore, Metor Blitz) use the opposite landscape or d-pads in a slightly different area.

I tried removing my screen protector and cleaning it a bit. Also read somewhere that if you recycle it, that may help. But I'm still having a problem. Is this a common occurence? Should I send it back to Apple (not even sure if it's still under warranty)?

I have never had it happen. If it's still under warranty then I would defenitely send it to apple.

Go to the Apple Store (if you have one around) and see what the Geniuses say.

Never heard of this before.

Or, just say that you bought a faulty iPod Touch and they'll replace it for you.
