help on jailbreaking.

hello all.

i was just wondering but, i got a ipod 3g(i think i bought it at christmas 2009) and i got the newest firmware 3.1.3 i think it is.

so how would i go about jailbreaking my ipod ?

i was going to try blackra1n and apparently you have to use redsnow or something?
sorry i dont get this stuff thanks.

okay thanks umm does this mean that i can jailbreak my ipod 3g 3.1.3 using redsnow?
