Azkend HD for iPad

We're happy to say that Azkend HD will be our first release for iPad! We're creating new high definition version that takes advantage of the larger screen of the iPad. The game should look absolutely gorgeous :) We're hoping to release Azkend HD in April 2010.

We're not sure about Azkend 2 at this point, but we're definitely thinking about it at times.

How do iPad games work for those that bought the iPhone version? Will it be one app that installs different or will it be two different purchases? Just curious! I'd buy that again anyway ;)

The iphone version was a impulse purchase for me but the game is still on my phone (gets a ton of play time). Looks great, still deciding if I "need" an iPad but I'm sure I'll pick one up sooner or later.

Azkend HD will be a iPad exclusive version. It'll be a new purchase since it differs quite a lot from the iPhone version. The art was done by Jussi Lehtiniemi (jussiart.com).

I've got my Ipad pre-ordered and love match 3s especially all the ones you guys make along side popcap's, but I just picked up the Iphone version today because its on sale(wish I would have seen this first). Is the ipad verson the same boards/progression with nicer graphics or are there more differences.

Looks good but I have no intention of getting an ipad (yuk!), i'll buy a sequel for the iphone/touch though!

The iPad version will have different levels since we had to remake most of them for the iPhone because of the small screen. The game play in the iPad version is more similar to PC/Mac version.

Azkend remains my favorite match 3 type game. I have played and beat it multiple times. And, I continue to try and get gold stars throughout the entire board - but have not yet achieved this. This will likely be my first purchase for the ipad...

There is no match 3 type game that even compares to this for me.


NOTE TO THE DEV: Can you :)please :) make multiple game save slots (at least 3) so more than one can play? I found this very irritating that there could only be one game going at once on my iphone. I am finished my game, but want to keep it so I can keep improving and get all the stars, but I might also like to start a new game or let someone else try it. Also, when you are going for the stars and realize that you will not get it, you can't restart that level. instead you have to play it to the end anyway.
