Alright, guys. I've just finished Robocalypse, and now I'm craving to play another RTS game. I'm not really interested in Warfare Inc. (bad graphics), The Settlers or Command & Conquer (too expensive). Are there any other decent ones besides the ones I mentioned above?

Completely serious. Great graphics, an incredible amount of playtime, and sooo indepth. It's like ur actually building a civilization. Th closest thing on the iPhone to age of empires

Space Harvest (http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/space-harvest/id348795059?mt=8) seems pretty decent. Haven't put too much time into it yet though.

No, that's not what I'm asking about.
Did you even read the first post?
There aren't many RTS games on the iPhone, I would highly recommend that you reconsider The Settlers.
I found it to be the best RTS on the App Store. It is just the perfect game to sit down next to a fire with a warm mug of coffee and sink hours into :)

The Settlers might be worth it, but ONLY if they've fixed the bugs.

RED CONQUEST

RED CONQUEST
It's the best one out there imo, it's simple for the iphone but very complex for the depth of strategy involved. Also, there is local multiplayer already and online coming very soon. But for the record, the settlers isn't bad either.

I recommend RED CONQUEST also. Too short for me though.

Warfare Inc-most replayability, online, fast paced
command and conquer-great game..for the three hours it lasts
the settlers-great rts..without online or skirmish
red conquest-most strategy involved, very complicated consequently

I highly recommend that you look past the graphics on warfare inc. because it is still one of the best and is the most like starcraft out of all the rts games on the appstore. It also has a lot of extra levels to download for free.

Oh and by the way, the next update containing new campagn missions, another race and ONLINE MULTIPLAYER will probably come out this month!
Whatever happened to Quantum Collapse?
And since this is growing to be a canonical list of iDevice RTS, don't forget Stragea and Rise of Lost Empires.

I will consider it. However, I'm not into games that require too much strategy to play, and I've heard that The Settlers is pretty challenging.

forget about settlers-why?because biggest chellenge here is controls not game itself.plus no free play mode of any kind.and there was not or will be any update according to gameloft.in my opinion there isnt any must have rts for iphone(c&c is a ripoff).maybe War Inc.(only 59p and tons of content).recently Im playin Red Conquest(will be updated soon)and like it.hope it helped.

If the settlers is too expensive for you, then red conquest probably is too, being only .99 less... however, Robocalypse is only .99!! Have you already played that?
You really should try warfare, inc., it's actually really good. You'll get past the graphics after about 5 minutes of playing..

Yes, I was at work and just logged in for a quick reply on my iPhone. I did mean "Red Conquest!"
Well, If you really want to pay less, I believe John said that there will be a sale on Red Conquest! when multiplayer comes out. It's supposed to be submitted at the end of the month and hopfully it will go live by april. This really is a great game though. The red faction and blue faction are completely different and require different strategies to use. Add the mysterious new faction to the mix and you should have a well balanced 3-faction RTS. Further add the awesomeness of the current game, and I'm sure that the 3rd faction will be balanced as well. The campaign isnt the greatest, but the amount of control, graphics, the fast load times, auto-save, challenge missions, skirmish maps (large, small, medium) as well as being able to play up to 8 A.I (which are pretty good) totally makes up for a short campaign. The game is confusing at first and the controls take just a bit getting used to. But once you do, you'll find deep gameplay, great mechanics, balanced factions, and a great overall game. ;)

The retro-style graphics don't really appeal to me, though.

You could always save up your allowance for a couple weeks to buy the settlers - it's really really good. :)

Like I said, games that require a lot of strategy don't appeal to me.
