I know a lot of folks are just coming off of a GDC high, but if you're looking to experience the history of video gaming, I highly recommend coming to at least one of the two days of this unique and incredible event!
The show has numerous classic arcade machines, practically every console system known to man (most of which you can play!), pinball, competitions, presentations from industry greats, and more vendors than you can shake a stick at!
Located in the greater Milwaukee area (about an hour to an hour and a half drive from Chicago) the show is easy to access for those of us in the midwest. And at only $10(Sun.) - $20(Sat.) a person, it's an extremely affordable day of fun.
If any of that sounds like fun (or you REALLY need to obtain a new homebrew for your Atari 2600 or Odyssey^2 ;)) then check out the following link:

If you decide to come, look me up! I'm going to see if I can obtain a badge that says "thewiirocks" on it. If you see me, feel free to stop and chat me up. I love meeting interesting new people and talking about all things video games! See you there!
