Gameprom's pinball games on iPad

Hi,

we are prepared two versions of The Pinball game for iPad:
1) The Pinball on steroids with new enhanced graphics, sounds, etc.
2) The Pinball as is on iPhone, without any enhancements

List of changes in enhanced version:
- ball mirror
- surface reflection
- new lighting effects
- redesigned and detailed table geometry
- improved gameplay
- improved sound effects
- added new music tracks
- 4 balls in multiball mode

We are not quite sure whether it was a good idea to develop something for iPad when we can’t even test it on the device itself. That’s why we chose MacOS X as a test platform and made pinball on steroids called The Pinball. The Pinball combines all 3 of our pinballs (Wild West Pinball, The Deep Pinball, Jungle Style Pinball) and gives them a new life, making them even more beautiful, more detailed and more interesting. We were actually ready to release The Pinball at the end of January, we couldn’t wait for iPad SDK to come out so we can assemble the distribution build and send it to the AppStore censors… you can imagine how disappointed we were when we learned that iPad would be on sale only in April. But we didn’t want to sit around doing nothing for 3 months, so we took The Pinball for MacOS X and made the Pinball Remote application, which is actually a WiFi joystick for The Pinball.

Please welcome The Pinball for MacOS X and Pinball Remote, and The Pinball for iPad will have to wait until we can get our hands on at least one iPad, because Apple is still keeping the technical specifications of the device from the developers. This means that those, who release their games for iPad without testing them on a real device, are choosing money and publicity over quality and efficiency. We prefer to provide our users with the products of top quality and stable performance, that is why they love us.

If iPad hardware allow then it's will be a copy of The Pinball for MacOS X.
If not, then it's will be something between iPhone and Mac version.

PS: The Pinball for MacOS X and Pinball Remote will be soon available.

Hi,

I have all three of your pinball games and enjoy them very much, and intend to buy an Ipad.

One question though, will there be an upgrade price for those who have these great games already or just a flat price for all?

This looks fantastic, I never thought about how well a pinball game could work on the iPad. Any idea at what the price will be?

Submit the new version. If it doesn't work, Apple will tell you and give you a chance to submit the non-enhanced version.

Is the iphone version the same size as the one that is actually for the iphone or is that one bigger as well. If it's bigger, how much bigger.

I'm confused. I thought the remote program allowed you to use the iphone as a remote for the PC/Mac. If so, why would the iPad screen size impact if an iPhone could be used as a remote for it?

So much the better than, I can get the v1.1 of the pinball apps as there are ALWAYS some issues with the launch version of a game. ;)
