I'm not too sure about a TA app... maybe an application dedicated to reading all of arn's sites (Macrumors, TouchArcade, AppShopper and his personal blog).

Yeah, I hate using safari. It's just uncomfortable for pages like TA. There'd have to be a much bigger fanbase before any dev would even consider coding it, though.

if the app wasn't specific to TA, but could be used to view any vBulletin site, that'd increase the base dramatically.

You might not even have to make an app.. I don't remember what it's called, but the URL would look like this and it's easy browsing for the iDevice.

An app wouldn't be hard for someone to make. They just need to have access to the main server. Also, unless it was a paid app, it would be plastered in ads. So, only arn could make such a thing, and I could see a huge security problem due to the app having access to the forums. An RSS reader can feed the front page, but forums would be tricky. I'd say a mobile version is acceptable.

I would seriously use that App everyday. It would be such less of a hassle than going on the computer or Safari on my phone. Maybe in the near future it will appear? :D

A TA app is seriously needed now.

But in 3.0; it is a must. Editing / writing your post is a pain especially since when editing it confuses it for copy and paste sometimes.

Please arn; do an app. Or talk to the devs here.

Yes, but they're talking about an app on the app store with a more iDevice-friendly orientation.

I would be willing to pay for such an app. I spend so much time on the site it would be a no brainer.

Plus, when my kids are hogging the computer (WOW, nickjr, etc) I could still get my fix.
