I'm starting to doubt the existence of this game...no screenshots, video, press release, nothing...the console version has been out for sooooo long...EA sucks at keeping people informed :mad:

Gameloft on the other hand, is excellent at generating hype and providing good information and screenshots...definitely one of the best developers around right now.

Agreed on the similarity to Hot Shots though. However, GL Golf looks like hard boiled ass. I can be completely serious when I say that the first version of Links LS looked better.

Links LS is 14 years old.

if this is referred to mario golf or hotshot...its cartoony golf + fun skills
tiger is real golf...u know...aka the boring golf they have on t.v :D

"The golf controls should be familiar to anyone who's played a console or PC golf game. You have access to a full set of clubs, as well as a mini-map for aiming purposes--you touch right and left to adjust your aim--and a grid overlay to read the putting greens. Also, you can apply spin to the ball in mid-air by swiping across a ball icon in the corner of the screen. It's not strictly in accord with the laws of physics, but it's kind of cool nonetheless.

Let's Golf includes four 18-hole courses, four golfers (with various unlockable outfits), tournament and fast-play modes, and 2-player action over WiFi or using pass-and-play. It's not fancy, but we think that it ought to satisfy those looking for a quick, playable golf game. It should be available sometime next week for $5.99."

So how can you even say that? You should probably update your sig too, as you can't be waiting for a game to come out that already is out (Oregon Trail) :cool:

As for a Gameloft rep on these forums, I've never seen anyone from the company post directly here, I don't think they really need our input anyway, but it would be nice to be able to communicate with someone directly and express our opinions about their games.

Sorry, I should've clarified. Oregon Trail is now out, but while we were waiting, Gameloft didn't inform us on anything and they even deleted a tweet talking about the release date. What I meant to say was that Gameloft wasn't keeping us informed, but seeing as how OT is already out, and Let's Golf now has its own Twitter account, they're improving on that.

Yea, they could have done a better job with OT, but they are better than a majority of another developers at providing updates on the status of their games, could always be worse :)
