Finished Jailbreaking my touch yesterday and I couldnt be happier with it. Being able to play Pokemon with speakers brings back such nostalgia for me......:)

Changing themes is nice too, im loving the wooden one right now

So far it's a tethered Jailbreak, right? I.e. take the cable off the PC, you have to re-do it when reconnecting?

So far Ive experienced you only have to "re-do" it when you turn it off (hold down sleep button) and then turn back on and plug in.

However you dont have to redo the entire jailbreak, you simply run a program that comes in the package. This process takes about 1 minute, so really not much hindrance at all

I did this jailbreak but did a clean restore because it was buggy and not many things to do. Really; although I LOVE winterboard and emulators; I'll wait for the full release.

well on mine it crashed when synching all my stuff; i was not too crazy on the stuff on cydia; no installer; tethered; no support; plus conncecting and browsing on your ipod is harder than in the good old 1.0x days.

for all that stuff; i un-jailbroke. dont get me wrong i love j/b-ing and will when the full version comes out with SOME support from the dev-team. but for now; no thanks. the app store has lots of sh$% to keep me busy in the meantime. ;)

i haven't jailbreaked before so don't get hostile if this question has been answered before. When you do this will it delete everything you have on your ipod? and is the tethered jailbreak worth it while we wait for the full untethered jailbreak? what are all the pros of this jailbreak compared to the cons?
